Maximum Ride by James Patterson

Has anybody else read these books. They are about six kids who are born with superpowers.

The problem is that the people who created them want them back.

If anybody is looking for a good summer read, I really recomend these books. :thumb:

I definitely read the book solely because the cover reminded me of Haibane Renmei  But it wasn't all that bad. Definitely aimed at younger teens, but it wasn't bad.

I had seen a few people reading the first one, so I bought it a few days ago.

Not too bad. Like Lint said, they're aimed at a group younger than I, and I prefer longer chapters, but it's an interesting yarn. I liked the scene in the restauraunt.

I'll probably wait til the second one comes out in paperback before reading it.

theres gonna be a sequel?

I have read When the Wind Blows, and Lake House (different sereies than this one and while I was impressed with the storyline, the amount of..."scenes" in them...really bothered me...exspecially in Lake House.

I LOVED Maximum Ride!! I loved the childlike quality..and even though I expected "scenes" I was pleased to find..there wasn't any at all!!

Angel was so cute.

And, IMHO, it is just as good as the first one.
