Apologies if this belongs in the Goof Off section! I'm not goofing around, though. :P

For the moment, I'll just keep this here in general, but I suspect it shall soon be moving.

Concerning Ark: He is alive, well, and doing his usual moderating of the boards. You may not know he's around, but he's always watching the boards from the shadows. . . always. . .
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Ah, Ark. Did you have a special covenant with him? If so, you could call him the Ark of the covenant. :)

If he kept a certain type of bird he could be the Ark of the cormorant, and if he worked for Noah's Bagels, he could be Noah's Ark. :) (careful, I'll spawn puns.)

If a certain football team from Oakland were sent to search for him and they made a movie out of it, would it be "Raiders of the Lost Ark"?

I am . . . floored. Indeed, my appreciation for your incredibly sophisticate and intelligent humor is rivaled only by my supreme and utter jealousy for your katana wit [katana > rapiers]. I am amazed at your fantastic sense of culture, evidenced by your references to high cinema, classy sporting events, and avian wildlife. You have indeed shown me the light.

That should clear out some of the puns here. [Just carrying on the reference from Kaligraphic's post. ^_~]

It's a good thing our world isn't like UC's story, else my father would have inadvertently wiped Florida off the space-time continuum.

There are no more heroes any more they all died in the night that the world fell into darknes; and good men are trampled down into the dirt never to be seen again. This is the story of this world of ours the story of the corupt and those that would try to save it from them but become corupt themselfs from their own selfish greed and want for what they do not have.

Well it is nice to be missed. ;) I have been mainly touching base with other staffers and lurking CAA. A friend of mine from out of state was up, and I was spending the week with them. But yes, I've been keeping an eye out on you space monkeys.

If you can see Ark, he can see you.

If you can't see Ark, you may be seconds away from death.
