Krispy Kreme vs. Dunkin' Doughnuts

Talk about anything in here.

Postby LorentzForce » Mon May 15, 2006 5:54 am

Krispy Kreme for me. However, I have not yet tried Dunkin' Donuts before, so I wouldn't know who is better. But I do know I love Krispy Kreme.

Not enough sugar though.

Yes but we dont DOUSE our food in saltyness or sweetness. It's a good mix which most other people unaccustomed to it would say "this tastes bland"

You find that you have a weapon, an instrument that
will give you power over the wind and sea.
In one word, you can stop time. It is a weapon
so powerful that even God will bow
down to you and all his angels fall at your feet.
What would you do with it?

Krispy Kreme all the way. They hold way more sugar and fat than Dunkin Donuts(its been proven), but they taste way better. They're best when right off the conveyor belt thingy. Gotta love the glaze fountain :)

I actually don't like Krispy Kreme donuts very much. The taste just doesn't strike me as very appealing, though I do like how light they are.

*likes Tim Hortons the best* I like Dunkin' Donuts, too. Krispy Kreme is okay, but their donuts are a bit too rich for my taste...

I’m not very big on sweets.

But as long as it has Bavarian cream, or pudding in the center, I like it.

Krispy Kreme is a terrorist donut shop! They're feeding you your own doom! Lun for your rives! Or run for your lives! And stuff!

And run away from the evil Krispy Kreme! They have the evil clowns! And more stuff! And something!
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.

I'd have to say Kispy Kreme, at least here. DD has good doughnuts, but they had a very poor selection here. KK's selection wasm uch better.

Dunkin Donuts are so heavy that I could kill someone if I decided to just start chucking them at people.

That's something I have noticed, besides as other people have stated that Krispy Kreme seems to make more sugary doughnuts, that Dunkin' Doughnuts' Doughnuts seem to be more of the cake consistency than the light, fluffyness of Krispy Kreme.

Actually, where I'm located Dunkin' Donuts isn't a very strong franchise, so I'm not terribly familiar with their consistency. Most of the time I eat donuts from local bakeries, which are typically much closer to the lightness of Krispy Kremes but with much less sugar.

ShiroiHikari wrote:Long johns for teh win.

Indeed. The only other type of donut I eat is free ones.

Note:I love sugar.
