For some reason, weaponry of any kind amazes me. Lol. Although I'm not of the legal age to purchase any weaponry, I love to go to amazon.com and stare at the katanas.
So what kind of weaponry do you have? :) I have a couple pocket knives but my sister has three katanas and a knife. I picked 'em out. :D

A trusty Model M keyboard, used both as a heavyweight club and a bulletproof shield.

Other than my primary weapon, I have a few more, like a ruler. A metal one at that. And my pile of LEGO.

Well, I got no "real" weapons. I got a wakizashi, but it's just for display, not sharp or anything :P Would love to get a katana and some sais (most awesome weapon ever, think I spelled it right, the fork-like knifes used by one of the Ninja Turtles :P).

A girl after my own heart.

I have a small collection of weapons. From the simple 4D-Cell Maglight to the uber-effective .45 Caliber 1911A1 to the bone-crushing War Hammer.

I also have a lovely Katana/Wakasashi/Kanto set, although I'm more of a blunt instrument kind of guy than a swordsman. And a few rifles - all WWII vintage - a Russian model 98 Mosin Nagant, a British Lee Enfield, and a Thompson (Tommy Gun).

Wow, you have a lot of guns.
I just have a want list. I was looking at anime and video game based swords in amazon and a lot of people were complaing about how they were "display only". :shady: And that they couldn't be used for fighting. :shady:

Well, if I could, I'd show off a picture of the bokan I used to duel my shinobi friend, but seeing as it's not mine..

Pocket knives, gutting knives, and a long knife. I'm looking for some knuckledaggers to go with them, as well as maybe a useable sabre of some kind...I dream of owning a Damascus or an Angelfire blade...those are awesome.

I'm also a pretty good shot with a glock. I like glocks better than 9. mm or the beretta. Although I'd love to own a pony-leg shotgun one day (beautiful gun with a heck of a kick and even better blast radius) I haveta wait till I'm 21 before I can actually *own* a gun. Le sigh....

I looove weaponry. Ive got an original WWII katana that was taken from an officer. Ive two Bokens though one of them is broke and im gonna file it down into a couple of training knives. Ive got a set of Katanas that originally made just for show; but then I customized them so that they are actually battle worthy. Ive got several types Shuriken and knives. A blow gun and three different bo staffs.

dream of owning a Damascus or an Angelfire blade

Thats gonna cost ya a few thousand at least. I saw a damascus blade once and it was about 2500 dollars.

We have this fruit and vegetable knife that my parents bought for 1 Hong Kong dollar back in the mid 1970s. Still works pretty well. Never had to sharpen it.

I own a few sets of numchuck(sp?). One set of foam, two sets of wood, and one set of metal. My dad gave me his old stuff which were the metal and a wood set. I also own a bo. I wanted to buy Sais but they were about 50 dollars too much. I would like to get a set of Tonfa and a Bokken eventually.

I have a couple of balisong (butterfly) knives. And then there is my SOG SEAL 2000 combat knife. That is easily the nicest one I own. (See below)

I used to have this awesome hunting knife but my mom took it away :(

Got a Katana, and a set of Double-Dragon Daggers. Got a Bokkun, tho that's not really anything special (they cost like 3 dollars).

Hopefully today I'll be getting a Varmint Hunter in the mail...

The Misner Thorne and Wheeler book (Gravitation, A.K.A. the phonebook) is a deadly force to reckon with... Lug it through the air and watch your enemies flee, Ph34r the l33t f'/s1cs t3+t... ok so that was horrible l33t... but yes, battle by launching physics texts through the air.

the Word of God, is my "weapon" of choice. ^_^

Frankly I think beating people up with a physics text does them more good then beating them with Bible... granted that both have the same weight but what better way to teach someone P=mv or F=ma than through a massive oversized, overweight physics text :).

When I was younger I used to have a BB Gun.
I'd really love to have a bow and arrow(although I can only shoot using a girl's
bow, when we had archery as part of Christian Camping class in Bible School I couldn't use a regular man's bow so I had to use a girl's.It was a bit embarrassing to say the least.),also I'd love to have an old fashioned Remington rifle like the kind Lucas McCain(Chuck Connors)used on The Rifleman(aside:That was one cool opener when they show Lucas walking the the street firing off his rifle). And then too a Bowie Knife would be fun to have and of course Sango's boomerrang.
(off topic:Wonder if Lucas was related to Senator John McCain?)

My weapon of choice is a copy of the Webster's Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary of the English Language. After that would be Bird, Stewart, and Lightfoot's "Transport Phenomena" which easier to wield, geekier, and far more likely to cause sever brain injury if people try to understand the contents, but it packs less of a physical punch.

Seriously, I would like to buy a bolt-action rifle someday (a Mauser if I can find one) and go hunting, but I haven't really had the chance. I enjoyed my experience with firearms when I was in ROTC, but the opportunities to go shooting outside of ROTC are few and far between in my city.

I have a bolt action Browning rifle that is a showgun, not for actually firing (its made of rosewood and has gold and silver inlay) and a knife my friend brought me from China. When I do go shooting, I use our .30 calibur rifle or the handgun. I don't care for shotguns much and the 300 magnum would effectively remove my shouler from the rest of me.

 That reminds me of a character on Tales of Phantasia (someone help me here). He's a summoner that uses a book as a weapon and one of his books is actually a dictionary (I think).

I think I'm with Melmak on this one. I'll take the sword of the Spirit any day. I do own a machetti (sp?) though. It was made in Honduras.

Ah, if I didn't hoard dolls, I know I'd be hoarding weapons. Daggers, knives, switchblades, and katars are my personal favorites. <3 I have a very lovely Japanese dagger sitting ontop of my bookcase, along with an ornamental katana. Its name is Ramza and I love it dearly.

I like weapons a lot but havn't bought many. i have a few knives so far. My collection will probably increase dramatically in the next few years as I get my own place with less restrictions. (My current housing dosn't allow any thing that LOOKS like a weapon... airsoft and water guns aren't even allowed, let alone escrima or kendo sticks , or bokkens.)

MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

Sorry. This thread brings that out in me. But yeah, many things can be used as weapons. I used pencils when I was younger, and you can't get arrested for those. And hardbacks are awesome, too. Don't forget crutches.

Perhaps the line between "weapon" and "doll" is somewhat blurred for or Miss Daisuke.

And that is as it should be, my friends. We can all learn a thing or two from Kokoro.

One dulled kodachi, one (extremely sharp) Kris, a dang-near useless longsword I got from the Swap meet, a shinai that's nearly falling apart, a bokken, a wooden knife, a fixed-blade knife I can't find at the moment, an easy-open folding knife, a broken 1911 Airsoft pistol, a Beeman 450 FPS breakbarrel air rifle, a pair of 26" rattan sticks and a pair of 28" ebony sticks. I also have a 50-lb. pistol crossbow and an 18-lb. self bow.
