acessories you can't leave home without?

Postby Tenshi no Ai » Fri May 05, 2006 9:47 am

Well, there's usually (with guys) "that hat they can never leave the house without" as their manly acessory (I remember that from a vote in Elementary school... but that was ages ago!) So in this day and age, what do you never leave the house without wearing that "something special"? (Doesn't even have to be special, just somethign you always wear and hardly ever seem to take off).

For me I have several.

-1 black elastic hair band I wear on my right hand... a very useful thing for a girl with long hair^^

-2 1/2 sets of earrings that I'll change, but hardly EVER leave them out for say a whole day for fear that the holes will grow back^^

-1 hemp frendship bracelet, well, anklet, around my left ankle (I have small limbs so couldn't fit my arm^^) My firned made it for me... about exactly a year ago and it's still on (actually surprised it hasn't fallen off yet^^ Until then will I keep it long so who knows how long it'll be...)

-1 gold ring with my birthstone (peridot) on my right hand. Only rarely do I take this off (like say, going swimming, etc etc)

Hmm...

Well, my earrings, for one. XD Although I will change them on occasion, I never leave them out for very long. I've always been afraid that the holes will grow back, too. XD

My purse. I never leave the house without bringing my purse with me! Ever since I was in the 5th grade, I carried a purse, and now that thing is attached to my shoulder, practically. XD Quite useful, though. :D

Weird, I do the black hair elastic on the wrist too, unfortunately my one friend is almost always in need of hair elastics and she usually snafoos it.

And I *always* have to have a purse with me, and said purse must contain my wallet, a pencil, a sharpner, a pen and my sketchpad. Mostly it's all about the sketchpad. I remember I once left my bag under the seat at a play and I was way more panicked about losing two years worth of drawings than I was about my credit card and ID O_o

I have a rubber bracelet... you know the kind that says "live strong" or whatever. This is the MacDonald's version of the bracelet. It says, "Live Young." The only reason I wear it is because I got it while I was on my Bible delivery trip to Hong Kong. Two other team members and I would always go to MacDonald's and get the mango-dipped ice-cream. Mmmmm...

I have armbands that I wear most of the time, along with my Godstrong and One Life, One Chance wristbands. I can also be found with my goggles around my neck most of the time, and if you're lucky, my sister's Kyo hat.

Actually now that I think about it, in the summer I like ALWAYS wear bracelets (especially the new wooden beaded ones I just got last year). I just disslike wearing them anytime else since it's odd to wear them if you aren't wearing a t-shirt^^

Cell phone
Bible
Book (varies- right now it's House)
Sudoku puzzles
Keys
A few pencils and a pen
Gum/candy/both (currently Orbit and Pez)
Thick hairband that stays on my left wrist

Glasses, wallet, cell phone, and WATCH. I totally feel naked without my watch.

I know the feeling, when I broke my watch, it drove me nuts until I got home to put my back-up watch one.

My watch, my photon light, and at least one knife, at the least. There's alot of other stuff I carry with me, but I have to have those It used to be I only HAD to have my knife, but we were in Target noe day when the power went out, and it was pitch-black except for my dad's flashlight.

So now you carry a flashlight incase the power goes out? That's awesome. Of course, it's unlikely it will happen, but you never know. I almost forgot...I always take my makeup with me. I hardly ever use it after I put it all on, but I'm paranoid that I'll need it.

Blackberry, represent!

I always have wallet, keys, watch, blackberry, lighter, and usually my company phone (my company pays for the blackberry, too, but we also have our own phones.), and often a knife and/or Sandisk Cruzer Titanium 1GB. I may also have my sunglasses with me if I'm spending a lot of time outside, and possibly a hat when the temperature is low enough that I won't fry my head.

My purse, which contains: cell phone, wallet, checkbook, lotion, pen, hairbrush, hand sanitizer, pain meds, and keys. I also always have chapstick in my right-hand pocket, a watch, glasses, a chastity ring on my left hand, ring from my parents on the right, boyfriend's class ring always in my left-hand pocket, and my very simple cross necklace.

My sunglasses!
I have very light sensitive eyes, so I’m blind without them. I even need them for driving on cloudy days.

My purse of course.

And my small travel hair brush. I never used to need a brush so much. But now that my hair is almost down to my waist, I find that I need to brush it and refix it more and more.

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. [color=Red]But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

A ring that someone gave me (I feel utterly naked without it), my keys, wallet, lipgloss, an elastic hair band, and some lotion. And even though I never manage to be around when someone calls, my cell phone, though I think a few people might disagree with me on that one xD;
