If you could marry an anime character?

Talk about anything in here.

Postby Kaligraphic » Sat Apr 22, 2006 11:05 pm

No.

I prefer a girl who is thicker and softer than my laptop's lcd. It would also be nice for her not to fit in a disc no wider than my hand.

No, it's reality for me.

I think if any of the anime characters were real I would marry Yomiko Readman of R.O.D. or any of the older paper users from R.O.D the TV series.
I am a serious book and magazine collector myself and I believe they wouldn't care about my books as much has I would their's.

I'd marry Sanzo from Saiyuki. I have never actually watched any of the animes, but I like him in the manga. ^^

Lol, I know nobody here is ACTUALLY fancies any animated characters, but admit it, if there was a real person that looked like one, you'd like them. You all know you wish Tifa, Rinoa and Mulan were real :P

Hmmm...I'm caught in the middle between Sasame or Hayate from Pretear. Sasame was so gentle and his hair was so cool! But Hayate was awesome too. So hard to choose!

Well, I suppose Nakaoji from merupuri wouldn't be too bad and Hatori-san is nice too despite the age difference. These are the manga character versions since i have never watched anime a ton. But by the time the finish releasing fruba in the U.S. I will be about the same age as Hatori-san..

Hey guys, I'm not going to bother to close this thread or delete the new posts which have been made in this thread, but I'd just like to point something out for anyone unfamiliar with CAA's rules against grave digging:

For many, many reasons, we request our members don't "grave dig". In practical terms, that means ressurrecting a very old threads without adding something very valuable. Before the first new post yesterday, the last post had been make approximately a year ago. That's a very long time. Threads like this are probably best left to slumber silently six feet under, alright? ;) Thanks.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Wow... I'm about to be almost completely original here, for I have a choice that absolutely no one has mentioned yet!

First, I must say that I would have to live in an anime world... and in that anime world, I would choose to live as a character I made in an RP once, who is really much like I would be if I were an anime character (anyone remember Lost With Hope?).

Now... for my decision. I had 3 choices... but one has always stood out. Although Yomiko Readman (Read or Die) and Maggie Mui (R.O.D. the TV) are both characters that I find absolutely adorable, they just don't hold a candle to one... therefore, the decision for my anime bride goes to...

Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo)... Tenchi should really treat her a lot better than he does, don'cha think?
