question about Kenshin arcs

Postby Tenshi no Ai » Sun Apr 02, 2006 4:38 pm

Well, so far I'm on the Kyoto arc of the show, and last I read in the book was
when Tomoe's bro tries to find Kenshin for revenge.
I know that part was seen on the Reflections OVA, but does it even happen in the show? I hear so much about how the show's ending was blah with mostly fillers and the whole Christian arc thing... does that last part of the manga even show up at the end of the TV series, or does it only end with the fillerish stuff? (Without trying to use spoilers on how it actually ends and stuff^^)

alone,
And this I know.
Your breath's like wine,
And just like clouds, my skin crawls.
It's so divine, the sky it glows with fields of light.
Did you know that I love you?
Come and lay with me.
I love you.
And all this day, I will love you.
You make me feel alive,
and I'll love you
Until the end of time.

The Jinchu arc was never animated in the TV show. I belive it all ends with that goofy Christian Arc.

That's kinda depressing... :/ Although I did like the reflections ending (even if it did just recap the last real arc from the manga), still interested to know how the book ends too (and it ends very soon too^^ Need to mooch off my friend for the latest ones^^) But knowing the show ends in the one arc along with random fillers... guess I don't have to wait to finish the book before I finish the show now :/

There are flashes of Tomoe in the one closing theme for the series that I've seen, so it was intended to be animated I believe but the series just couldn't survive the season of fillers.

It doesn't end at the Christian arc, actually. I forget where it ends... (I actually liked the Christian arc. :P)

But the arc Tenshi is talking about wasn't animated.

The fillers ran the show's ratings down the drain and it was cancelled before they ever finished animating the manga.

How on earth was the Christian Arc goofy? It was no Jinchu arc, but it was a heck of a lot better than the other filler stuff that we're subjected to in the third season.
I'm a shoe-in for hater of the year.

Finish the manga Jinchuu arc. It IS terribly heartbreaking, but get through the pain and you'll be rewarded with a great ending. The second OAV just brushes through it and does not create as big an impact as the manga panels for the same events.
