spring hit HARD!!

Postby Tenshi no Ai » Wed Apr 05, 2006 5:37 pm

Ok seriously, after a big fluxuation in weather recently, I can safely say now that SPRING IS HERE (and summer is just around the corner!) For people like me who have had dreary cloudy, rainy etc weather most of their winter, seeing sunshine and actually having it VERY warm out is a real nice change^^ Ok, I was sick a week ago and I was so surprised yesterday with the heat change that I wasn't sure it if was a fever or not @_@... I hate the foggy mornings here though (in a valley) because of its coolness it fools you into thinking it may be coldish later on -_-;
So, has anyone else been soaking up some sudden Vitamin D and feeling really giddy like I've been lately? ^^ In fact, I actually feel up to working on this stupid essay (for those who've survived my complaining in the chat ;))

Spring? What is spring? In Florida, there is no spring. There is hot and there is cold. Nothing more, nothing less. The grass is green or it is slightly brown. Your nose is stuffy or it is stuffy. I have allergies!!!
I'm a little mad at the weather right now. I woke up freezing but now I'm hot!!

It snowed here a little too. That's not too uncommon at this time of year of course. A lot of years we've had pretty hefty blizzard/ice storms around the end of March.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

It is nice here in texas. Actually it is pretty hot. But I always liked hot weather better than cold weather.

It's been raining a lot from where I live, but it looks like things are calming down for the better. Though everytime there is a break in the weather and the sun starts to appear, I usually "stockpile" whatever sunlight is out (I usually close my eyes and bask in the warmth of the light).

Sunlight is precious and an important commodity for my health and sleep patterns. With the weird weather that's been going around, I haven't been sleeping well for the most part. I guess I'll be sleeping better as Spring and Summer hits. :)

I like rain and all... But I am really ready for it to stop now. It's been raining off and on (way more on than off) for the last several weeks, and I am right sick of it. It was nice and sunny today (hooray!) but it's supposed to rain again tomorrow. I NEED SUNSHINE!!! I do wish Spring would quit playing coy and just stick around.
