oh! that was hilarious! The how to give your cat a pill. My cat used to be prone to bladder infections because she was would wait under my bed ALL day while everyone was awake and then go and eat and drink and use the litter box when everyone was asleep. (This wasn't a problem, thank heavens, when I moved her in with me when I was living alone) Anyways, the vet gave us these huge pills to give to her and it seriously took TWO of us to get her to take them. Let me tell you, cat teeth are SHARP!

::sigh:: I miss my kitty. I have been petless since she had to be put to sleep. Poor Salustra. She was so sick....=(

I used to work at a human society, we had a few cats that had tick problems and were smelly beyond all reasoning. So, we were given a hose, a huge bucket and some tweezers with a jar of rubbing alcohol. try for a moment, to picture the wounds given to me by these feindish cats. No protection, by the way. Just t-shirts. By the end of 3 cats, I was soaked, scratched and in much pain.
Don't ever try that at home, people. It's just not worth it.

I watched a professional groomer give a bath to a cat once. She had to put two leashes on it so it wouldn't get out.
The poor cat was so freaked out it, um, made a mess in the tub.
I really don't know how she managed to get the job done without getting scratched or bitten, but she did. :o

I have a mind like a steel trap. Rusty, unsafe, and illegal in 48 states.

Forgive my idiosyncrasies, for if they did not exist, neither would I.
