Argh hotels full!

I was going to go to Acen but I just called (two months in advance I might add) and find out every single room in the place is rented out. Now normally I would just walk from a close hotel but I am going to be in my haseo cosplay, its going to be made out of metal vinyl and leather, plus the stomach and part of the chest is exposed. Not something I want to be walking around chicago in.....

Anyways anyone know of a decent sized con that is around Indiana?

Honestly I would go but I dont have the money and if its anytime soon then, knowing my luck, it will be full...

Also anyone know of a con thats somewhat big that I can go to around the IN area? And by that I mean ohio and chicago..

This is what im wearing, its very hot temperture wise and exposed (vinyl and metal). Can you just see someone walking around the big city in this..... Plus I live in Indiana that is quite a drive to AX.

Ticks me off to because I REALLY wanted to go to acen....

That why I rent a room for AWA a year in advance. Right after the con, I go ahead and get a room for next years event.

Now that is just bad thinking on MTAC's part. Why have a con the same weekend that Grad weekend is for Vanderbilt University. I was thinking of going to MTAC in 2007, but if going to be a problem as it will run the same weekend as Grad weekend for the University, I don't think I will go.
