Miles is the only one on that list that I listen to on a regular basis so I have to be hapy he made it.

I admit a fondness for Blondie, and there are some good Black Sabbath songs. (There are also some less good ones, however, and I never cared for their live shows -- the Iowa bat incident being a prime example, even though I *think* that one was an Ozzy solo act.)

The Sex Pistols note was pretty classic. I wonder if they felt cheated (and I wonder if anyone will get this joke). "We're not your monkeys and so what" is just about what I would have expected from Mr. Rotten.

Eh, I read about that Shoo. There nice little barely coherent tyrade showed why I don't like Punk music.

Well, I like the Clash, although they certainly aren't in the same universe as the Pistols. On the other hand, there's only their one album to judge by.

The Pistols are great as well. But not as good as Sabbath, IMO.

Paranoid was a truly awesome album.

Miles Davis is the epitome of rock: original, daring, controversial, and challenging to listen to.

Miles Davis and Sabbath rock and totally deserve it.

In terms of who has had the most influence on rock and roll, I would have to say Sabbath and Skynard. You could argue the Pistols, especially with the punk renesaince (sp) in the above ground (not that it ever died underground). I don't really know much about Blondie to say either way, and while I love Miles, I don't see the rock and roll connection.

I really dig Skynyrd. I was graced to see their tour with .38 special, a blast that was! They deserve to be there, I'm surprised it took this long for them to get in there.

I like Sabbath as well.

as for blondie and black sabbath.... weelll I dunno about that =P
