Talk about anything in here.

im so confused.... x_x

Postby chibiphonebooth » Thu Mar 09, 2006 7:39 am

im sorry, but i dunno where to post this. XD

well, um, basically this is what i hafta say.

there was this kid that i used to have this MAJAJJORAOSIDRJOAEIRJ MAJOR crush on... but he turned into a... for a more appropriate word- a jerk. To make a long story short, he ignored me, insulted me behind my back to my best friend , and was just mean to me in general. for example, when i said hi, he would look at me and walk away.

well, i am over him now, was for a long time. I havent thought about him for.... about a year.

But then... one night i had the most random dream about him- it was so strange. In my dream- he was kind, and wanted to get to know me more, and wanted to be with me. In my dream, i was SO utterly confused- becuase i wasl ike ... 'i thought you hated me.'
throughout the whole dream it was like that. and i was so confused even in my dream.

when i woke up, i was like 'that was wierd. oh well." and i shrugged if off.
this was like.. 2 weeks ago.

but then.. last night i had another dream about hm. and it was basically the same thing- just in a different setting. again, he wanted to just.. like.. be with me. it was so wierd. and again, i was sooo confused in my dream.

i have no idea what is going on. x_x

maybe my brain is just trying to screw me up. XD

do you think its a bigger meaning? or just coincidence?

I don't really tend to believe in "bigger meanings" in dreams, unless they are directly from God, and generally, dreams about boys aren't. I would say it's probably just a random coincidence, and that you can relax and not worry about it. :thumb:
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

I guess the thing you should think about is: Did this guy's dream personality somehow change who he is? No. Because his dream personality is nice to you, does that change something? No.

I can't tell you how many dreams my 15 year old self had about this guy I'd been crushing on for years. Don't give the dreams much thought, I say. Thinking in that direction will likely just get you into some bad situations, and, if God wants this to happen, you're not going to have to make it happen by acting upon a very vague dream. :hug:
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I'd suggest you just shrug it off. Your subconcious mind dredges things up, and taking them too seriously can cause problems. For example, my Dad had a vivid dream about mistreating me as a kid and thought that it was something he had actually done. He felt guilty for years because he though he had gotten angry and been really mean to me when he hadn't. I was able to clear the whole situation up when I found out about it, but it does illustrate that you shouldn't take dreams seriously, even vivid ones, unless you have a really good reason to think otherwise.

It is possible that he did like you, you know. Some adolescent boys struggle on how to behave in the presence of a girl they like.

I would be quicker to warn you about an adolescent who seems too smooth/together or too eager to impress you. Most of the time, that boy only wants one thing and has experience getting it.

Awkwardness is a better sign of true feelings in adolescence.

Maybe he never liked you. Maybe he couldn’t express his feelings in a way that made sense. Your dream may be an indication that you are not as over him as you thought you were. Your dream could mean you ate something that disagreed with you.

I wouldn’t go looking for this boy, but if you have access to him, it couldn’t hurt to talk to him.

Just two cents from one of the awkward ones who never got to date the girl he liked in high school.

Yeah it happened to me alot after my first and only break up :/ Kept havign hopeful dreams of getting back together and such, but when I woke up I knew they were nothing more than dreams :/ Only had a couple coincidental dreams that happened when we were still together that basically happened, but it was only because I myself was also unsure about different things at the time...

And by the way my dreams are going now 0_o... yes, they are the most and very random things. As mentioned in another topic when someone asked about dreams, unless your gut feeling is "yes, this came from God" don't worry about it.

i dont think its from God, but my friend did bring up a very good point.

see, there is this other kid i like, and i told her that i feel that i am at the same point i was when i was with the mean kid. and she said maybe becuase you feel the same way with the kid you like now, the dream is relating it to the mean kid. ... if that makes sense. XD

I'd forget about this guy. Its rare that you'll find what you want in your first relationship. Just keep on searching.

And as for dreams...Mine usually consist of nightmares or nothing at all. So be happy that yours are at least relatively benign.

As a weird note, I had a crush on a guy from Kindergarten to 5th grade, he was the only guy I really liked at the time. One day I had a weird dream in which I knew we were married. I don't even think it had him in it at all, more of just the knowledge that we were married. It was really weird. Anywho, the next day I said hi to him at school and he looked at me kinda weird as always (he'd known I had a crush on him since Kindergarten), and suddenly I realized I didn't have a crush on him anymore. That has to be the best way to end a crush. There are no major memories left of feeling rejected, I simply realized I didn't like him anymore. *doesn't know if this really relates to the thread, just wanted to share it*

*smells a coincidence*

Yeah, I've had dreams like that before about past crushes and whatnot. Usually those dreams didn't end up coming true, unfortuneately.

*chuckles* Don't worry too much about it. Focus on non-REM objects that don't live behind your eyelids for now.
