Anybody know where I can get some handcuffs like these? (Minor Death Note spoilers)

You could make those, by simply buying a cheap pair off ebay...and buying a thin dog chain, or a cheap wallet chain.

I would just suggest buying some cheap handcuffs from someplace like Wal-Mart, and buying some chain from Wal-Mart also, that is roughly the same size, much longer.
Then you can take a sigle link from the middle of the original handcuff chain and then splice the longer chain onto both parts.

Does that make any sense?

Thanks for helping guys. MSP and I are hopefully gonna do this for Otakon. The only problem is I have medium length red hair, not long brown hair.

Check Army surplus stores. They sell security items for security guards in some stores. I don't know if a police supply store would sell to anyone if they are not in lawenforcement. Or you could try http://www.galls.com a public safety equipment company on line.
What it looks like you want are leg irons they have two sets at $19.99 or $26.99 if they work the way you want for hand cuffs.
If you order from them they will also send you a catalog and continue to send them to you.

These Smith-Wesson model 100 handcuffs are the very best handcuffs ever made! I have used them so much that I just can't stop using them. They restrain very well.

OH YEAH! Remember! Never lose the keys or be sure to get a extra hand cuff key. Its amusing to police officers and firefighters when someone comes to them with handcuffs on and no key.

We usually cut them off with a boltcutter but it can get tricky when they are tight around the wrist.

Eddy: Are you telling me you could have taken your hand out of those cuffs at any time?

Roger: NO! Only when it was funny!

I think the best way to get a pair of handcuffs would be to get arrested and make a run for it.

If there's anything I've learned from Hollywood, it's that any pair of handcuffs can be opened with a paperclip.

Alot of the really cheap toy ones come with an emergency switch on the cuffs incase the user lost the key.

We were talking about real ones though XD

We will probably not do it, as a lot of yaoi fans love the L/Light pairing... >_>

I was gonna say... you might want to bring a weapon to fend off all the fangirls with yaoi paddles.

I'd go for bat or bokuto... or you could just garrote 'em with the handcuffs.

I think murdering fangirls is generally frowned upon, even yaoi-fangirls. Though it would get you a free pair of handcuffs.

I didn't say kill them... just... subdue them carefully. They are hitting you with a wooden paddle after all. Garrote was the wrong term to use there (though I didn't mean it seriously) I would think more blocking with the chain as opposed to choking them would be more effective, though it might hurt the wrist. (I seriously have been wondering since last year why someone hasn't filed an assault report on one of these girls)

I say the old handkerchief-dipped-in-formaldehyde works for me. Then you can just claim they passed out over seeing their favorite bishie.

Hardly related: If I knew a girl who looked enough like Kaoru to cosplay her, I would so do the Kaoru-with-Kenshin-on-a-leash bit from the second manga volume (or was it the third? I forgot). It would be so hilarious.
