Ben 10!

Postby Puguni » Fri Feb 24, 2006 7:32 pm

It's that new show that came on Cartoon Network, and I find it surprisingly good. The concept is that a 11-12 year old boy named Ben has alien technology strapped to his wrist like a watch and he can't take it off. It gives him the ability to change into 10 different aliens, and he fights other aliens, while on the road with his grandpa and cousin. :O So...watch it sometime.

Already have a Ben 10 avatar :)

It's CN's best of the new originals that have premiered recently.

When I saw the commercial for this I thought:

"That is going to be the crappiest little kids show ever."

After hearing both of your opinions though, I guess I thought wrong.
IMO, I bet you IGPX is probably much better and than is a CN original that was premiered recently. November is recent.

Yeah, but isn't it more of a racing show? :O Because...I don't get that guy fascination over it. XD But yeah, to reiterate, Ben 10 is pretty good.

Ben 10 is "OK". But I'll agree with Tom on the IGPX opinion.

Given that it occasionally airs at a convenient time, I figured I could justify at least looking at it. Overall, I haven't been terribly impressed, by the general style as well as the episodic qualities. But the initial concept (of the Omnitrix, I mean) isn't that bad, if developed.

It's better than I thought it would be. It's fairly witty at times, but it doesn't match either the now defunct Teen Titans or Juniper Lee in my mind. There's really nothing new in the episodes I've seen, but still, I was presently surprised by the show.

I saw about 10 minutes of the episode last night, but couldnt get over hearing Paul Eiding as the grandfather. I kept expecting him to say: "Raiden, turn the game console off right now!"

Juniper Lee is much better even though they keep making it hard to find when it's on.I also would put the new Toon Disney series A.T.O.M.(Alpha Teens On Machines)
ahead of Ben 10.
The one problem it has though is what will happen when they run out of aliens for
Ben to kick butt against?

Foster's came in 2004, so I'm not counting it.

Yeah it's a pretty good show. But like all Cartoon Network shows the Theme Song is pretty Stupid. It's made by the creator of Teen Titans Methinks. Interesting concept for a cartoon network show though.
