Actors As Anime Characters

Anime Insider has in its magazine every issue where they pick American actors that would match anime characters if they did a movie a series.
I have heard where they are chosing who will play in a movie based on Battle Angel.
Anyone have ideas for other series characters being done by actors?

This is how it SHOULD be:

Billy Idol should play Vash the Stampede regardless of him only being a singer.

lindsay Lohan should have a spot in Love Hina and Bruce Willis should play Tohru Honda in Fruits Basket.

I think Christian Bale would make an awesome Wolfwood. (Maybe..)

I dunno. It depends on whether or not he can get Wolfwood's character down right. Me, I'd go for Christian Bale as Roger Smith (Big O). But over all, I stand against live-action conversions of anime on principle. ^_^

Gavin Rossdale should be The Count of Monte Cristo from Gankutsuou.

And Elijah Wood could be Shinji Ikari.

I have no idea how those two fit together.

For Rally Vincent of Gunsmith Cats I have thought Jessica Alba or Mila Kunis who plays Jackie on That 70s Show.
I have tried to think of other actors that would match characters.
I got one Charlie Sheen as Cougar from S-CRY-Ed

This is a hard one. Currently I am having fun trying find a match for Christopher Walken... perhaps some way-out-there anime villian?

Believe me, any anime character that resembles this guy would be an interesting one.

How about this idea, put a actors name on here and let others take a crack at what anime character they could play.
Lets try Dakota Fanning, Natalie Portman, Tom Cruise and Johney Depp

Tom Cruise as Rau Lecruese from Gundam Seed.Johnny Depp as Professor Crower
on Yu-Gi-Oh!GX.

role for any actor to play.

I had this thought that we always think of the actors who are well known because of movies roles.
What about those who appear on TV shows if they could play the parts of anime charactors.
There are young actors on shows that could use some chance at a good role.

The latest Anime Insider just came up with who would play the charactors of
Lupin III
Diedrich Bader (Drew Carrey Show) Lupin III
Hugh Jackman (X Men) Jigen
Ken Watanabe (The Last Samirai) Goemon
Christina Ricci (Adams Family Movie) Fujiko
This a kicker because in the thread on AMVs I thought of using music from Dragnet the movie (City of Crime) with Lupin III movie Castle of Cagliostro and I thought of Zenigata as Joe Friday which is played by Dan Aykroyd which is who Anime Insider picked to play Zenigata.
I would guess someone else as Lupin III thou.
