Rhymes With Orange

The newspaper comic strip Rhymes With Orange by Hilary Price was interesting. Time Lines
First panel You have a female chacter holding a drawing of Mammy Yokum from Little Abner saying "I look at the comics my parents loved , and the drawing seems so dated."
Second panel "So I wonder, will todays's comics look dated to the next generation?"
Last panel there is Salior Moon hold a drawing of the female chacter with question marks over her head looking at Salior Moon.
Its wild how anime or manga is showing up everywhere.
