Thank you for flying Hello Kitty Air

Postby Mangafanatic » Wed Feb 22, 2006 11:22 am

Thanks right, citizens. Just what we always wanted-- Hello Kitty themed airfare. Complete with Hello Kitty themed jet, Stewardesses wearing Hello Kitty themed uniforms, Hello Kitty themed meals and Hello Kitty boarding passes, it's the stuff dreams are made of!

The Hello Kitty Air Offical Web Site has enough details and sugary pinkness to make you go into a diabetic shock.

*Secretly wonders what a ticket on this jet would cost*
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I found plans for a "Hello Humekitty" airline with Sabretooth Kitty as the postergirl, but I'm sure those have been dropped ever since she gained 5lbs on her cheesecake diet.

Eva Air is not Japanese. It's Taiwanese Airline Eva Air and the Hello Kitty themed jet flys daily flights from Taipei, Taiwan to Tokyo, Japan and Taipei, Taiwan to Fukuoka, Japan

I still think they should have had another theme for it then Hello Kitty since how the name of it is, but maybe they feared that no one would fly on it.

Are you sure that you want to take over the company. Because you need alot of money for it.

*explodes from sugary sweet overdose* Wow.

The plane doesn't look too wild, the green tames it down quite a bit. I like how the first class tickets are 'classier' than the economy class.

The mascot suit wigs me out a bit, though, but then I used to run screaming in terror from mascots as a child.

It doesn't matter what nation owns it,I still predict if it becomes successful sooner or later we'll end up with a spat of copycat(no pun intended)anime themed airlines.
