Ash and Ink Adventures: you chose the new story arc!

Postby Scribs » Mon Feb 20, 2006 7:27 pm

I am almost to the end of my Kiwi twin arc, and will soon be needing a new problem for our heros to face. I have made a poll of some of my ideas, and you can chose whichever one sounds best to you.

1. The CAA bump threat! (The Mods have to deal with the threat of excessive bumping)
2. The search for MelMak. (AA is becoming concerned that one of its mods has been missing for a while and ask that the mods search for him)
3. Life is hard for a bard. (CAA's most renowned playwright has some evil tricks up his sleves)

Vote for your favourite!

(I figured that this would be ok to put in general, because it isnt too silly a thing, but if you feel otherwise please move it)

I think it's cluel and unusual to leave MelMak in that hole with only coffee. maybe a new villain could discover and capture him...

I say find MelMak.

So, who's going to be the badguy in this arc?

Well, the twins thread had to end sometime, though to be honest I feel very priviliged it went on so long. :) I vote the search for melmak - the 2D world he's stuck in would just offer so many opportunities for humourous mischief!

I decided to vote for The Bump Threat. That story arc would be interesting.

In all honesty (and no offense to MelMak), I think you should try one of the others while keeping the MelMak a "side plot" for added laughs here and there. Maybe have the action always going on above him, but no one ever finds him?

But that might get old fast. It's a thought!

That's not a bad idea, Rogie-san. I second that. :) (Too bad I already voted in the poll... ^_^; )

The story arc is that they search for melmak, not that they find him ;)

Well, that sounds right up my alley, based on my previous idea! Good thing I waited to vote in the poll. ;)

I can imagine MelMak as the suspected mastermind behind the Bump Crisis, which would integrate option #1 and #2.

I have decided that unless there is some significant change in the votes in the next 6 days I am going to do a double arc, with the bump threat combined with the search for MelMak. We now have so many mods that if they were all on one quest it would be rather crowded...

I fully support that idea. You should be able to do that without sacrificing the random element that makes the storyline humorous.
