Who's single here at Valentine's Day...AND DOESN'T CARE !?

Talk about anything in here.

Tenshi no Ai, nice avatar.

I suppose I'm not terribly bothered.

I just wanted to use the word suppose there somehow.

... wait! valentines day is here?! I forgot it existed. (actually, a couple days ago when someone started complaining about valentines day, I actually remembered then. Up until then I didn't realize it) I actually got some flowers for one of the girls at school, but I don't even have a crush on her or anything, it was just to be nice. She was complaining about the holiday, so I thought i'd surprise her.

[color=#000000]Me: "Hey, what's her last name?"

Brett: "Doesn't matter. It's going to change anyway."

Brett: "Why do they call it tourist season if you can't shoot them?"

I dislike Valentines Day as well.
Nearly every holiday is depressing to me.
I'm being extra gloomy tomorrow just for the heck of it.
Even my cards are depressing. -_-
I'm not single anyways, but my bf is far far away.
I wish I could be with him. *cries*

Yeah, the concept of being "sweat" on someone really does sap the romance away.

But it *does* keep with the whole idea of mushy ...

well...I chose the thrid option before I re-read it and realized I wasn't sure what it was talking about...
I have a boyfriend...and really, I haven't a clue what we are going to do to celebrate the holiday. I have the day off by some odd chance...he has to work during the day, but wants me to meet up with him when he gets off.
When he asked me what we should do...I told him it didn't matter as long as I got to see him....
=D

really...this is the first Valentine's day I get to spend with someone I truly love...
I used to have my own little "pity party" thinking that the holiday was cool because of candy, but how it was horrible that I was alone...

Anyways...
I really hope that everyone, single or with someone, has a wonderful Valentine's day.

Very funny, Zilch, but that link could sue a disclaimer for language and *cough* questionable relationships. My favorite quotes:

OK, so watching two people get all lovey-dovey in-game is no substitute for the real thing, but that doesn't mean the love of two game characters can't teach you valuable lessons about what to do, and in many cases, what not to do, and perhaps most importantly, whether or not you should totally beat up your twin brother.

You won't have to rewind time to make your love forget you, and you won't have to face fire-breathing dragons only to find out the object of your affection is in another castle. And hopefully your love is more of the happily-ever-after variety than the she-gets-shot-at-the-beginning-of-the-sequel type.

The message? Love is fleeting, so enjoy it while it lasts. Also, Double Dragon II totally sucked.

Many games (and movies, books, and television shows, for that matter) use romance as a cheap hook to draw players into the plot. The kidnapped princess, the girlfriend that's been abducted by the gang leader, the brilliant-but-sexy nuclear scientist that you have to escort out of the research facility that's been overrun by zombie lepers from the Galapagos...you get the idea.

Mario and Princess Peach are the Al and Peggy Bundy of the video game world.
