I don't mind Valentine's Day. Some people I know get really into what with singing Valentine's and elaborate pranks, so I find it very entertaining. I also gave chocolate to my guy friends from Japanese class in traditional Japanese style.

And then they pointed out that we'd all be on Spring Break over White Day. -_- Boooo...

I have to admit, for the first time I'm possibly glad that today is Valentine's Day. It just got me an extension for an article because the editor "didn't want an interesting story to be overshadowed by a bunch of mamby-pamby mushy crap" So I actually got to sleep last night!! X3

Meh, it's Valentines Day and I'm happy! But I could care less about the holiday itself. ;)
Because seriously, most of you (Those of you who are married) already tell your wives or girlfriends that you love them, all year round. Not just Valentines Day.

But I'm happy! lol

Where in the world did you get an idea like that?

Happy singleness depreciation--err, Valentine's day.

It is... a day... like many other days. It is Tuesday and I am happy then that I don't have work. I start guitar lessons today. I am happy that the last chapter in my accounting class is going very well. If I was not single and had a guy I really cared for, I would be happy about that. As I am single, I will (usually) be happy anyway.

Did you try googling a heart or valentine or something in an image search?

I'm all for the Valentine's Day!

I'm single too.

Yet I think it is a wonderful idea to have a holiday dedicated to romance. Sigh. Ah, romance. Tis a beautiful thing.

HAHA!!!! MY PIC IS DONE!!! Now to CG it (I tried shading with a pen and it killed it... gotta erase the shading...) and then send it.... well... after coming up with something nice to write...

O_O!!! I gotta make sure I know her B-day!!! I'll ask her next time she comes on... thank God it's already Wednessday...

And for future reference and to make sure there's no confusion... when I say thank God... I mean "Thank God"... kinduva 'BIG FAT DUH' that everything good comes from God... even the word "good" I think... Ya' know, add an 'o' to "God" and you get "Good".... cool, huh?

As the creator of the "other thread", I m assuming you mean the Singles United one, I just want to say that yes Vallentines day is a good holiday and it is good to celebrate love; but to some people (like Moi) it is a deeply depressing holiday and I wanted to start a thread to uplift singles on Valentines Day. Don't take it as an anti-Vday thread just know that while your out on a date and having a good time, some of us are stuck at home all alone with noone; but a pet cat to spend the day with.
