Woo! San Diego! Well, okay not quite. I live about as far away from San Diego as you can get and still be considered in San Diego county. Can't see any of the smoke down here though...where exactly is it burning?

I live all over this state, really...I'll drive as far as Brea and Temecula to Westminister and all over the bay area to San Bernadino and even Malibu. All in one day, you think I'm kidding? If ya know your free-ways and side roads, anything is possible.

I've also been up north, where the air is actually clear and there are still hills without houses on em....I miss Northern Cali....*Sigh*

OC, when you cross into the Santa Ana canyon -- you can see it to the south.

So you must live in either Fallbrook, Pine Valley or Oceanside. I grew up in La Mesa.

Jacumba! hehehe, nope. Well, you're right, fallbrook is farther away than Escondido...

La Mesa...never painted any houses there. Have in Otay and East Lake though...

My dad's vet clinic is down in Spring Valley, a block or so away from Jamacha Blvd.

I have a friend whose family lives in Fallbrook. She and I used to make the drive from Northridge to Temecula to go line dancing on Thursday nights. Somtimes we would then drive to her Mom's house for the night OR more often than not, we would drive all the way back to Northridge....yes, we WERE crazy.
