do you concider yourself to be a specific stereotype?

Talk about anything in here.

Naw,I don't think I'm a stereotype of any group.Unless there's a stereotype for people who can trace their ancestry back to Colonial America. But then even I don't think I fit the stereotype.
On the other hand I probably do fit a bit of the Celtic stereotype:
*Bad temper
*Love music
*Can be a bit rash at times
*Love good food and drink
*Red hair

I am myself, me, and I all packed into one teenage mind.

I would probably fit into the "good son" stereotype. I love and obey my parents dearly. I almost always ask them permission whenever I want to do something. I usually stay home, help around the house and I'm my parents alarm clock.

I was playing "loaded questions" with my college group, and the question was "how do you define nerd?"

i met every single person's definitions...

If the average person stereotyped me without getting to know me...
tall, geek (not smart enough to actually be one), wannabe emo kid (not cool or skinny enough to actually be one). Some would stereotype me as a fundamentalist (Religious fanatic), but not in the true sense of the word (holding to the fundamental doctrines of Christianity).

i think i consider myself casual lol, does that work for an answer?
Love is that feeling you get when a girl looks at you and it feels like your driving a car at high speeds and experience a sudden drop. You know what i mean? That sudden sinking feeling you get in your stomach? Yeah, that's love. Leave's you speechless everytime.

I don't fall into anyone's real category of a "black dude", but I'm proud of the way God made me. I wouldn't change it for the world!

Hmmm...

Well, I'm a Christian, but I'm not too involved in my youth group (not like that matters when it comes to Christianity, lol).
I LOVE music, lots of different kinds...except rap. I hate rap. And Country, too. Along with screamo. XD But I'm not really categorized as "emokid" or "indiekid" or "punk rocker" or whatever...
I'm a big anime/manga fan.
I'm not a social butterfly, but I'm not really anti-social, either.
I like reading, but I don't do it all the time...so I usually end up with like, a thousand books I haven't finished. XD
I like video games and what.
I dress...Like...Normal. I don't know, I wear clothes. XD Jeans, Birkenstocks or flip flops, t-shirts, other...shirts, jackets, blazers, etc.
In my room, I have a mixture of my framed art, LOTR posters, a Zorro poster, a POTO poster, and a Rurouni Kenshin wallscroll.
I love art and I love to draw and paint and whatever, but I'm not "artsy," per se.
I like animals, and I like how pretty nature can be, but I'm no tree-hugger or an environmentalist. XD
I'm not into sports.
I make good grades most of the time.
Aaaand...I love grammar. I looove to edit things.

So...What kind of category would you put me in?

I've tried to figure out which one I fit into best, but I'm too mixed to be one specific one; although I will say the geek/nerd one is what I'd most likely be classified as, by my grades and what I study outside of school.

Well-rounded, and quite similar to myself in many ways! :thumb: *reconsiders last clause and realizes that "similar to myself" is not exactly a stereotype... but perhaps a kind of category nonetheless*

>_>; I kinda fit into the introverted, antisocial geek/nerd mold pretty nicely. *shrugs* But despite that I'm still me and that's cool.

I kinda think "labels" are sort of fun when they're not used for evil - it's kinda amusing to see where people place others, and it's even better watching people trying to dodge a label, only to end up categorized anyways. But that's just me, the armchair psychologist having a field day. ^-^

Well rounded indeed, if you accept circular definitions. :)
