Looking older/younger than you are...?

Talk about anything in here.

People usually guess I'm a little older than what I am, but still within the college range. Of course, I'm always wearing my college hoodie, that might give them a hint. What I always find funny is how old people think my brothers(twins) are. When they were in high school they got away with kid's prices because people thought they were like 11. It's also great when they ask who is older, me or them. Haha! They are 5 years older than me, isn't it obvious?!

I'm 18 and people generally think I look 3 or 4 years older than I am. It probably has to do with my height, being 6''2 and all, and my pretty deep voice. If I was about 15 pounds more though I could pull that off easily though.

I'm 22 but i've been mistaked for 16 and more often as being in my 30's with children. everyone's experiences make them change. I may sometimes look young but it's my maturity that makes me seem older. and a lot of the time i'm just mistaked for a few years older.

I usually get pegged a few years younger than I am, but nothing drastic. However, the longer my hair gets, the younger I'm told that I look ... especially when I wear it in two braids.

I do have a hard time trying to fit guys into age brackets, though. If they're between 18 and 25, I'm a little lost. ^^;

I've had people guess everything from 16 - 25 (i'm really 19). Usually people guess older though probably cause a deep voice.

I don't object to being thought I am still in my 20s as I think I act and think more like I am than my actual age.I admit it I will probably never really act my age or grow up entirely even after I get married(whenever that might be).I refuse to become a old codger,at least until I get pass 120!LOL!!!!:)
Any way aside from that I often get confused for a woman when I'm on the telephone.

I'm almost always mistaken for being around 2-3 years older than I really am. (The other day at Gap Body, the desk lady asked if I was 18!) As for my voice, people never recognize me on the phone, for some reason. They either think I'm my mom or my brother. O.o I guess I have a deep voice for a girl.

The simplest way that I can understand therapy is that we're born a certain way, we're taught to be something different, and we spend our whole lives trying to unravel it and ultimately align ourselves with who we really are. Life, experiences, traumas -- whatever -- they all add up to make you some altered version of what you are. So there's this battle that goes on between what you are and what you become, and it's been very important for me to unravel what I was taught to be or what I became. and to draw a direct parallel to music -- the closer I get back to being who I really am, the stronger the music gets..." --Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins frontman)

What's kinda annoying is when I get mistaken for my mom on the phone (I'm a guy for blob sakes!)

Yes. Considering that a year or so ago, when I was still in my 20s, an almost-14-year-old girl almost keeled over when I told her my age... yes.

I get a lot of, "So, Doc, just get out of high school?"

Being white haired and old is actually a good thing in the medical profession. Experience counts.
