Yes look at the HS5K in his natural habitat (hunched over a computer desk). If you listen closely you can even here the HS5K making its natural call of the wild (tap tap tap *goes the keyboard*).

Ok… enough silliness. Hey everyone, I know some you have been acquiring into the adventures of HS5K and I just wanted to give an update. :thumb:

Update HS5K and the S.O.S. Youth Ministry
The youth ministry has been going really well right now. We are growing at a steady rate with 2-3 new visitors just about every month. Our current numbers are 11 kids under the age of 13 and 16 teens over the age of 13. I know it’s not a very large number but when you go from about 3-5 youth to almost 30 rapidly coming youth in a year’s time things are going well. We just had our first incredibly successful Christmas drama and I am very proud of all the youth and their performances. Now our big youth project is getting our old run down annex building turned into a happening youth meeting pad. So we are moving, fixing, redecorating, and getting a DDR system! WO HOO!

Update HS5K and the Greatest Novel EVER! ;)
Ok, so the other area of my life is getting my novel written. I have been finding that writing a novel is not as hard as I first thought it to be… but the major thing I did not expect was the amount of time it takes to write a book. So don’t ask me when it is going to get done because I’ve already passed all my set dates for finishing. But regardless of the seemingly slow movement things are actually coming together quite nicely. As each day I write a new chapter another section of my fantasy world unfolds and comes to life. So much has been done that it is getting to where I can see this make-believe work come to life before my eyes. It has even reached the extent that I have gotten to know the characters so well I don’t even need to ask what the Characters will do next…because they tell me what they are going to do… ok I know that sounded a little crazy… but when you get to know someone (even when that someone is make-believe) you instantly know what they are going to do in any circumstance. But one thing is for sure; I’ll have the 500-page encyclopedia of my make-believe world finished before the actual first book is ready for publishing… :shake:

God Bless

Great stuff Ben! Thanks for the update. Writing novels can get out of hand, can't they? Except for me I struggle to write lengthy novels.
