Impossible Crushes

Talk about anything in here.

I haven't had too many of those... the only one that comes to mind was Mayo Suzukaze (voice actress of Kenshin in Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai X).

Then there was that one girl who played the lead character in "Princess Diaries." I thought she was SO gorgeous before she became "pretty" (mainly because she looked a LOT like this one girl I liked). After that, no more.

Oh, Kyo Sohma, definitely. . . I'm so crushed that he doesn't exist.
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

First of all, I think there's someone I don't even have to say anything about. >.>

Secondly, a couple fellow members have been objects of my affection at one time or another. However...all of them were probably at least ten years older than me. >.> That, and, ah, various other circumstances have kept me from following them up...

Oh, and I had a total crush on Adrian Brody when I saw King Kong. XD; And Russel Crowe, especially in Master and Commander. I think it was the Totally Awesome Ponytail.
Think happy thoughts.

I've had crushes on various CAA members before. I'm not saying who though. ;)

I've told certain people, but this was before I realized Mith logged the chat. The guy probably has more blackmail info on me than I care for anyone to have. :waah!:

Now I have an image of Mith as a sinister blackmailer... This is a funny thought.

I don't think I've ever really had impossible crushes, or many crushes at all for that matter. I had a crush when I was little, but that was toward a girl that was the same age as me at my church. I can't remember any that have been 'impossible' per say. Or maybe I just have selective memory... :grin:

Dude!! I love Sean Connery! Not literally... but he is seriously 1337. They really need to make a new James Bond movie with him as Bond. That would be totally rad.

Well, they did, sort of. Never Say Never Again came out in 1983, a pretty straight-remake of Thunderball, 12 years after his last appearance as Bond in Diamonds Are Forever (1971). Even in NSNA, he looked kinda old for the role. I don't think he'd do a lot better now. Maybe as a retired Bond, though ... that could work.

I think if I were a female, I would love sean connery! He's a good looking old guy! But I am a guy, nethertheless I think sean connery is quite attractive for an old guy. (In a non-gay, man-to-man way!)

He's a great actor. For that matter, so is Patrick Stewart, he would also fall into the quite-attractive-for-an-old-guy-In-a-non-gay-man-to-man-way category (sorry, Mr. Smarty Pants, I couldn't resist!)

As for other crushes...not really anything serious. The typical middle-school cute girl in the class type stuff, but I've never really been attracted to many actresses or whatnot. Now, most lonely-but-strong anime heroines are pretty cute, but that's a different story.

Impossibility scale = 0 - 10

0 = Wahahahaha, not in this lifetime sweetheart
10 = What are you waiting for? Hit on him already!

**** Mave's goofy history list of impossible crushes*****

Anime characters: Saber Rider/Hiei/Soujirou/Tsuzuki/Dmitri of Anastasia
Impossibility rating: 0 - Non-existence

JRock: Hyde of L'Arc-en-Ciel
Impossibility rating: 3 - Unless I learn Japanese, move to Japan and steal him from his wife and kid, nope.

Celebrity: Benjamin Bratt, Bill Pullman, Matthew Broderick, Sam Watterson (Please PLEASE don't ask....I honestly don't know why myself!)
Impossibility rating: 5 - Stealing someone from their wife and kids ain't my style. And, I think most of them are too old for me. :eh:

Offline: Too numerous to list and there's really no point sharing this.
Impossibility rating: 7 - I suppose I could have confessed to them at one point. But, you know, one notable individual was almost 10 years old than me. Is it me or am I starting to see a preference pattern of older guys? Blimey, I scare myself.

CAA/online: ..........
Impossibility rating: 4 - Without meeting someone face to face, it seems pointless to me.

Oh yes. We must not forget Captain Picard, the space hottie. ;) He indeed ranks up there with Sean Connery in the hot-old-guy category. Harrison Ford is on his way, too, methinks. :lol:

Sean Connery is not a good actor.:P The Sean Connery in James Bond is the same Sean Connery in The Untouchables, The Wind and The Lion, etc. Sean Connery is in that category I like to call "stars." Other examples of stars would be Humphrey Bogart and Barbara Stanwyck. Acting means playing someone you're not convincingly Sean Connery and many movie "actors" before him just do not fit this bill. Sean Connery was just one of the last in that dying breed of actors.

Now I love the Connery Bonds as much as the next guy. I own Goldfinger and Thunderball and those two are in the upper tier of my favorite movies. But it still doesn't mean I'm gonna say he's a good actor. He's a great onscreen personality but he never could be anything other than that. He recently said he's never going to do another Hollywood movie again which is a shame.

Now actors would be people like Jack Nicolson being a crazed axe wielding psycho in The Shining and then being a nice lovable guy As Good As It Gets. Or Tom Hanks as a semi mentally handicapped man through the events of his life in Forest Gump and then playing Jim Lovell the astronaut in Apollo 13. That is acting to the T which is something stars like Sean Connery never did.

I had a huge crush on Link when I first saw him on the N64. Of course, I was around 6 years old, but that doesn't matter.

I didn't ever "love" Brad Pitt, but I did take a liking to his character in Meet Joe Black.

As for people I actually know in person... Well... Yes, it's happened, but I won't go into it.

I can't say I've every had an attraction like that. I don't tend to like celebrities or anime characters like that. I did have an unbelievably massive crush on this one girl at the high school I attended in Alabama, but it didn't work out, her and I are really good friends now though.

My celeb crush is Claire Forlani....she just has the most beautiful green eyes.....second to her is Gwen Stefani (I like her spunk, like a little firecracker)

Those are the two women I'll probably never meet....but will always see on the silver screen.
