And it doesn't look messy in your pics.

My hair sticks up in all sorts of strange directions when I sleep, it generally looks pretty strange when I wake up. However, I generally keep my hair pretty short (crew cut) so I don't actually have to comb my hair after I shower, it dries nicely every morning (except when my hair freezes).

*looked in the mirror this morning* I take it back. If I sleep with it wet, it's a MESS.

I prefer to keep my hair straight, but considering it's naturally curly, it tends to go everywhere in the morning. I cut my hair at least every 4 weeks.

My usually looks good in the morning, more than half time. I have curly hair I let air dry overnight. People insist I have very pretty hair, and even total strangers complement me sometimes. I love it when a girl I barely know gets an attitude with me and snottily asks me how long it takes to do my hair in the morning and I get to see the look on her face when I tell her its natural. Of course, the flipside of the coin is, when my hair is scary, it is SCARY. Hide it under a hat scary. And I have to be careful about how much I move about in my sleep otherwise I get electrocuted-poodle head.

To non-Americans: Bangs are known in the Commonwealth as fringes.

"Fringes"?! What on earth???

Well... My hair's size, shape, and frizziness level depend on whether I slept with it wet or waited until morning to shower. If I did sleep with it wet, it's usually lopsided, frizzy, and wavy. If I haven't showered yet, it looks greasy and flat. I prefer the way it looks after being recently washed, dried, brushed, and straightened.

The simplest way that I can understand therapy is that we're born a certain way, we're taught to be something different, and we spend our whole lives trying to unravel it and ultimately align ourselves with who we really are. Life, experiences, traumas -- whatever -- they all add up to make you some altered version of what you are. So there's this battle that goes on between what you are and what you become, and it's been very important for me to unravel what I was taught to be or what I became. and to draw a direct parallel to music -- the closer I get back to being who I really am, the stronger the music gets..." --Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins frontman)
