I'm not an expert on foxes, so I may be wrong, but you are going to get sick if you get bit by one and you don't treat the wound. And bite-wound from an animal has the potential to be hazardous; you wouldn't leave a dog bite untreated, so you shouldn't leave a fox bite untreated either. It's not poison; it's bacteria. ^___^ But if I am right, foxes in Japan have something in their fur. (I read this fur thing in an Imadoki book in the notes, so I'm probably wrong...)
