Is this Normal For Ebay?

Postby psychooys » Thu Jan 05, 2006 7:31 am

i just gotta say this is weird: ... cut ... a bit ago i saw the napster girl commercial (... cut ...) I liked the ad and all, but a freind of mine sent me this link on ebay, and aparently they are selling her panties and bra :O 622 I am totally suprised by this :O. Here is the big question: On Ebay, is this sort of thing common? do they sell of out-fits that women (that were on T.V.) wore often? prettty creeepy and prety odd. I would be interested to see what other kinds of things get sold like this anything funny? is that kinda thing normal for ebay? I don't use ebay that much, and i was hoping some1 here could tell me. if so could you give some examples? Sorry if i seem ignorant, but i am pretty suprised that this sorta thing happens :O Pretty gross i think, but it would be funny to see what else they sell.

I have even seen figurines that were made to look like human feces, on ebay. So this does not surprise me. :shady:

If they were selling a dress or something, that would be normal and acceptable. But selling underwears is just gross. However, there ARE some significantly gross people out there.

Yeah the auction seems to have been clipped, but I can vouch to say that there is definetly some majorly freak stuff that gets sold on ebay. You'd be surprised at what you could find with some of the most random searches. (Like a dorito shaped like the pope's hat) It's insanity. (But also very amusing)

Yeah, I'm not really shocked by anything on Ebay anymore. But this is pretty bad.

Has anyone seen the auctions where people offer themselves as temporary boyfriends or girlfriends? It's hilarious.

Yes, there was a point where people were trying to sell human organs on Ebay, so things like this are not supprising in the least.

Most the real odd things get clipped pretty fast. That would be a really fun job though. Getting paid by Ebay to snip the freakshow auctions. Sorry kids, I wouldent let you sell the Grilled Cheese shaped like Jesus.

There is a website that had a full list of eBay oditties. Due to the nature of many of the items, I won't be able to post a link here, but PM me if you are interested.

Selling that stuff on eBay is not uncommon.

There's been all sorts of weird stuff flogged on eBay.

Though my favourite was the Russian ICBM nose cone. (minus the warhead, of course - that must be purchased separately.)
