new years resolutions

Talk about anything in here.

This year, I resolve to be a large plum pudding, or perhaps I merely resolved into one.

*mallets all those who have been contributing resolution jokes*

I aim to stick to my resolutions by designing tangible and realistic ways to achieve the goals by answering "How and When."

Example:
Resolution - Having a more consistent prayer life

How?
Writing down a list of prayer request in a notebook and placing it next to my bed

When?
Schedule a time --> 10 p.m. every night.

*shrugs* Maybe some of you have already done this before, but it works for me.

perform an exorcism
That was a joke... Right? :eyebrow:

Anyway, yours is a very commendable resolution Mave, and one I think we could all do a little better on. Spending time in prayer is a great way to grow our relationship with Jesus Christ.

On the otherhand, my non-spiritual goal, is to improve my drawing level 1.5 fold. While that might sound dauning, my reletively low current level of drawing, makes this a completely reasonable goal for one year. ;)
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

you all have great promises and it will be hard to keep to them. I pray that God will give you the power to over come your promises that you made and I pray that you will all have a happy new years.

The new year is only 6 hours away over here! Better start cracking:

- Manage my time better
- More prayer [Mave's idea was good...I might have to hijack it.]
- Get my license ^_^
- think positive!
- appreciate my parents more.

Can you believe it's already New Years in some parts of the world??

Continue getting good grades, continue working out as much as I am, continue to improve the relationships I have with people. Of course improve my spiritual life by coming closer to God, praying more, and trusting in His will more readily.

manga + anime = a very happy person

1. A more consistent lifestyle with Christ in the centre.
2. More physical exercise. Starting to have a waistline. Would like to go to the gym more often and be fit again.
3. Supposed to finish reading Philosophical Foundations for a Christian Worldview, but man, that book is so thick.
4. Picking an appropriate subject to study next year.
5. Thought of a redemptive analogy for generic superhero comic titles, use that in my comic title, and get it into the shops.

The work never ends .. heheh.

yea i was serious.... i am waiting God's timing. I was going to do a couple in the past but i was totally unprepared, i would have cause a grip of damage. But i am about ready. and i cant wait to finally do what God has made me to do!!!!!

The fire is like overwelming inside sometimes.. i want to go and " set the captives free!!!!". But i said to God " Say Go" and i will say " Have fast and where". I just cant wait.

All my life i have cried about " what should i be doing with my talents and with my future" and until last Aug. i didnt know. But when aug. hit. I knew :)
And i cant wait. I hope to take it national one day. ANd help the churches join as one and prepare for the great battle for the souls.
