That was pretty much my reaction. I love tabloids, especially when they run a great story like this that's entirely plausible.

hahahaha sorry that would just be embarrassing... i tried online dating but in the end we broke up cause i guess we finally grown up and realized that it probably wouldnt've worked anyways
Love is that feeling you get when a girl looks at you and it feels like your driving a car at high speeds and experience a sudden drop. You know what i mean? That sudden sinking feeling you get in your stomach? Yeah, that's love. Leave's you speechless everytime.

In my experience, people never turn out the way they seem on-line. Even if an on-line dater or something is totally honest, someone's personality when they type is often so different from how they seem in real life. The story that started this thread is hilarious, though. I bet if it really did happen, everyone involved may have actually changed for the better....or maybe I'm just being optimistic.

Not necessarily...I know a few people who are on here...Sparten1056, Wingzero22 and Oro are the same online and offline.

And online relationships do work out sometimes, it's just rare and not exactly recommended. There are definitely rare cases of everything working out. I hope it does for me!!! SSJ, are you suggesting that people who date someone they met online are immature? It kinda sounds that way.

Anyway, is that story really true? I'm wondering now if it's made up or something. Either way it's hilarious. Reminds me of the time I saw a tabloid magazine with a header on the front that said George W. Bush had befriended aliens who helped him win the election by rigging it. XDDD

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

You're probably right. I'm sure there are people who are the exact same online and offline. I was just talking from my own experience. Some people act differently just because they're more comfortable in one of the two means of communication.

no heart of sword im not suggesting that they are immature its just that i was speaking for ourselves, we just got so caught up in the feeling of being in love with eachother and there were things that would prevent it from working and through the whole time we just sorta ignored them until they started catching up with us and we realized it wouldnt work..sorry for those that took it that way

The fact that it was from Weekly World News removed a lot of the humor value for me. It is plausible, yes, but if it isn't real it simply isn't the same. However, I would imagine that at least vaguely similar situations have occured.

Just to add my experience, those persons I have met online first and later in person have all seemed the same to me (obviously taking the difference in mediums of communication into account). Of course, I rarely use venues of the internet in which people are inclined to put up a false front.

Obviously not a good situation if it is true. But it is more evidence to the theory that a lot of guys want a girl that reminds them of their mom. ;)
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)
