Talk about anything in here.

That's one of the funniest things I've seen all day.

I usually bring my bible to the church.
God has a plan for each of us
He wants us to fullfill
And He'll provide the strength we need
To carry out His will.

God bless.. :jump:

I don't really get involved in theological discussions - mostly because nobody listen to the debate - they have made up their minds. I haven't tried to convince an atheist yet (just normal theism vs Christianity and Christianity vs Christianity) but I did carry Bible once - I stopped because I didn't like the fact that my pockets crumpled it. (I don't like ruining books)

I can't agree more. :) Also its good to have a lot of GK Chesterton and CS Lewis quotes as steady back-up.

For the most part I agree, but I am slightly more positive. There are times (especially when discussing theology with other Christians) that change is truly possible. Similarly, though direct debate is rarely effective, I know that my atheist friends appreciate that I am willing to answer their arguments.

Why must we be abandoned in times of need?
Do others not see when we yearn for their touch;
An insatiable hunger only they can feed.
Left alone with out their words – fallen into darkness.
Stumbling blindly without their light,
We fall and scream, knowing we've faced too much,
Knowing the only answer is flight.
Flight from the lives we once faced
And the joys and terrors others have brought.
Our time with them, a time of joy and life,
Wonder we all, was it for naught?
