The movies are good but there will probably have to be some editing by the AS staff so it is airible and also they need to air the 3rd cuz its the best out of the 3 in my oppinion but then again it did just come out.

They've already aired the 2nd movie on AS before and Im pretty sure they had the 1st one on as well so all the editing and stuff has already taken care of :thumb: And I agree with you about the 3rd movie being the best. I think its the best out of all 4.

Is that Eastern time?I wouldn't mind watching both however I think I would be zonked out by 2:30 and no way would I be able to make it to 4:30.It be nice if they aired them starting at 9 Pacific time then at least those of us on the West Coast could see both. Then again I have long since given up any hope that AS would make any sense with the schedule.

I'll probably try to watch the second one, but I can't guarantee it, because my whole big family will be here on Christmas Eve. I honestly didn't think the 1st movie was that good. Is the 2nd one better?

There is the possibility I'll get to watch it. I remember I got to watch like 5 hours of G4's Last Exile marathon last Christmas. @_@

Slight change of plans (per AdultSwim.com)... The Inu movies are still scheduled to air on Christmas Eve night, but have been pushed back. Affections Touching Across Time will now run at 1:30AM Eastern/Pacific, with The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass at 3:30AM Eastern/Pacific.

In their place at Midnight... a 6-episode marathon of Perfect Hair Forever

About the time zone thing, some networks, such as Cartoon Network, run separate satellite feeds, one for viewers in the eastern part of the country, and another for the western part. So what viewers see on the East Coast at 1:30 Eastern, viewers on the West Coast see 3 hours later at 1:30 Pacific.

Whereas some networks, such as G4, run one feed for the entire country so that viewers across the whole U.S. see the same thing at the same time. It just depends on what the network chooses to do.

So to answer Mitsuki's question... in your time zone the movies won't start until 1:30. (Sorry, bro. :( )
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

I'm afraid with Church the next morning I'll have to pass up this viewing.

Regardless, what in the wide, wide world of anime is Perfect Hair Forever?

It's not an anime. It's something that AS made that pokes fun at anime or that is what I think it is, when I have seen it.

Darn. These AS shows are starting to tick me off. I liked their original programming in the beginning, but I just don't see what is so great about shows like Perfect Hair Forever or 12 oz. Mouse. -_-

First issue: So no Fullmetal Alchemist on Christmas Eve?

Second issue: Why, oh why, did Cartoon Network have to get rid of the Christmas Party. That's been a TV tradition of mine for years! I look forward to the Toon Heads Christmas Special and the Yule Toons special every year. I'm glad I at least recorded Toon Heads a couple of years ago on my computer so I can still watch it. *sigh* And now I can't wake up at 3 a.m. during the night just to watch that nostalgic (albeit silly) Pac-Man Christmas special. That's a tradition that has now been ruined by anime!

Whoa, I think I just spoke against anime for the first time in my life. Christmas traditions are kinda important to me, if you hadn't noticed.

No FMA on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve. Meaning, we have to wait two weeks to see the next ep. <_< :sniffle:

That's a downright shame. But I'd be too busy to really concentrate on it those two nights anyway, so it's all good. (I'm still upset about the absence of classic Christmas toons, though -- )

A correction/amendment to my previous post on split east coast/west coast feeds:

I'm not certain on this, but I think the major satellite carriers, DirecTV and Dish Network, carry only the Eastern feed for the entire country. So whatever Cartoon Network viewers are seeing in the east coast at 10:00 Eastern time, viewers on the west coast are seeing at the same time, even though it's only 7:00 Pacific time. (The exceptions are Nickelodeon, Disney, and the premium movie channels (HBO, Showtime, Starz, etc), because subscribers to those channels get both feeds.)

So if you live on the west coast and have DirecTV or Dish, you might still get to see the Inu movies starting at 10:30.

I'm not 100% certain on that, though, so if someone who lives out west and has DirecTV or Dish could confirm or deny that, it would be appreciated. ;)
