If you knew your diary would be published one day....

Talk about anything in here.

well, here's something to keep in mind, each of our personal writings, whether they be journal or otherwise, may be published one day in one form or an other, perhaps the real question is how real are you willing to be when the possibility exists that there are people that are going to be able to see sides of you that you don't normally show that you wouldn't normally want those people to see

personally, i'd say that since chances are it's probably the realness in my writing that will have gotten me to the point where i would have been published, i would leave it in, after all, it's me that the reader is trying to read about, why put on the role of someone else?

My secrets will probably be discovered when I'm dead anyways, so what's the point?

I doubt my diary-like writings would make much sense to people, considering they are for my use only. Things like LJ -- wouldn't mind. (Except maybe the locked stuff xD; ).

I wouldn't mind at all if people wanted to published my stories posthumously, though. (Um, not that I wouldn't prefer more of the other method of publication... pre-humously.) >8D

I don't really have a diary, it's more like a prayer journal of sorts. I think people would have better things to do than publish it, or even read it. I mostly use it to help me focus on certain topics with God.
