Media Play stores to shut down

I didn't know where to put this.

Info from ANN.

Media Play has announced that it will close all of its retail stores in January, after the holiday season. The subsidiary of Musicland has failed to turn a profit in several years. Musicland's Sam Goody and Suncoast stores will not be affected.


You may want to see if they have any good deals on anime and movie dvd's.

A shame as one of the things I enjoyed doing when I went to my wife's parents in North Carolina was going to their Media Play to kill time browsing through their large anime and manga selections.
