THE Christmas Present

Alright, I know each and every one of you has THE Christmas present that you want. THE thing that you desire this year, attainable or not, what is it for you?

If we have THE Christmas present that we want (and you say that you know we have it) that it must be attainable. But no, at least not to my knowlege, I'd actually like a video cell phone directly linked to God (call it a prayer upgrade) where we could actually have a conversation man to God with instant replies :P ! Think about it, no waiting, no misunderstanding of and difficult awkward attempts at interpetting things. Frankly I think it would save me and him a lot of grief. And imagine the solutions this could bring, a friend calls and asks about a difficult problem in life and you reply "hold on a sec while I put you on hold and ask God's opinion." I know we have the Bible, but this would leave no room for interpitive error on either side. (Or long hours trying to hunt down an answer over hundreds of pages)

However, I do believe that this would probably mean an increase in pain and difficulties in my life (the right thing to do is hardly ever the easy thing to do), at least I could make sure that my actions weren't the result of stupid whims, but garunteed to be the will of God. Besides working out things in life plans you could also have incredibly fascinating conversations on everything from creation to his day to day dealings with the truly important issues (none of the crud that they talk about on the news but the unsung heros and avoided disasters that all work out through his miraculous intervention)

Frankly Santa, thats what I want for Christmas,

Later,
Pascal

A tablet. My plan of action includes screaming "I WONDER IF THEY ARE SELLING TABLETS HERE" every time I pass by an electronics flyer and my parents are close by.

A plushie of my avatar ^_^.

In reality, I've actually got to this weird (but really, really awesome stage) when I'm just looking forward to seeing most of my family on Christmas.

For cold, selfish, unsentimental dreams, however... the entire series of the Hack PS games would be nice.

Being with my family and relatives. Gonna happen after about 2 weeks 'n a half
God has a plan for each of us
He wants us to fullfill
And He'll provide the strength we need
To carry out His will.

God bless.. :jump:

I want to know what I want for Christmas!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I had that exact same urge the other day too, I wonder if Jesus gets really lonely around the holidays, an entire season devoted to his birth where he becomes the last thing on a lot of peoples minds (after christmas shopping, evil drivers on the roads, getting THE parking space, traveling, christmas cards, phone calls, finals.. with all this whose got time to pray, or contemplate God?). You've gotta admit that that wouldn't be your idea of a birthday party. Poor Jesus,

the only thing I asked my mom for this year...which is the only thing I want...considering I will not get to be around family again this year because I work retail ::grumbles:: and can not afford to fly out to WA on Christmas day and then home that same evening....is the money to take the CSET, which I need to pass before I can start teaching...
so...that is it...I want to be able to take that test...
