2. How can you say the plot sucks just because it isn't that far yet in the dub? If that's the case, you're actually saying that the first season of Naruto in general sucks, not just the dub, since the dub isn't too different from the sub.
My question is, what do you have against the dubbed version? The voices are actually pretty good. They even pronounce the Japanese names correctly, which is HIGHLY commendable. They kept ALL of the original music except for the opening/ending songs, which really isn't THAT big of a deal. They even minimized the number of edits made since it's being shown on Toonami...trust me, they could've totally hacked it to pieces like 4Kids did with One Piece.
It has solid voice acting, minimal dialogue changes, not bad editing, and all the original music. Seriously, why don't you like it?

kaemmerite wrote:One of the more interesting edits was the part where Gato's bodyguards come to take Inari's mother, and threaten to kill him. In the manga, she threatened to bite her tongue and drown in her blood if they harmed him, but in the anime they reduce her to begging "PLEASE don't hurt my son." The amusing thing is while she was begging, she looked angry. XP
In the subbed version, they left she threatened to bite her tongue and drown in her blood if they harmed him actually.
But in any event, I actually wrote that first thread to see if anyone actually likes Naruto, since I see a ton of people who dislike it alot, well, ok, I'll admit that the plot is basically the same and the first season truely sucks, but it gets so much better as the show moves on, the plot gets thicker and thicker and gets pretty good
