Not everyone will break your heart. And just the simple act of living life will make it a little battered and bruised, but it's worth it. As C.S. Lewis said, "If you want to be sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one...wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries, avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness."

On a completely different note, I love how this thread started out about dating, and ended up about Trogdor. Reminds me of a conversation I once had....it started out about Valentine's Day and turned into a discussion of napalm.

How do you understand the Joy of Tangents without even knowing what a tangent is, is it possible to completely understand "except for the your last sentance" without understanding the word "sentance"? :P

However, I do concure tangents are fun, and did someone say napalm?

As Mathmatically pleasing as tangents are, this is really off topic, and serves no real purpose.

I don't see what math has to do with having a girlfriend.BTW:Sir Isaac Newton was a virgin when he died,so perhaps for some people math is better than having a relationship with the opposite sex.I wouldn't bet on it though since you can't cuddle up to an equation on a cold winter night.

Gah!
How did this article come to math?
Lets get back to Trogdor,

I actually caw a funny Valentine Card while doing images searches of Trogdor, was the funniest thing I saw that day. Said:

"You make me Burninate with Passion"

Hum, I personally think Trogdor has issues with commitment, I mean, he's a big celebrity. He's under alot of pressure, has many shallow friends, perhaps Trogdor is just afraid of becoming vulnerable through a long term relatioship. I mean, alot would be at stake being he has to uphold the public image of "Burninator", how would that image hold up if everyone caught ear that he was dumped?

For that matter, how did it come to Homestar Runner?

I had my first girlfriend this year (two of them actually)
Up to this point I had waited for someone I thought could actually be the "one" as it is often reffered. I had thought both of them could possibly be.
The loving, caring, and slightly bad-influencing father of 1balloonpopper and khakibluesocks!!!
Also I'm not sure how -_-' but somehow I am the Master and Father of Spectro-King according to his signature ... but hey I'm up for having a minion ... so jump stupid ... I'll have him keeeeel you
 Evil child of Fantasy Dreamer and Dark Disturbed Grandchild of Cephas VII
On a quest to adopt Cephas
 WACKY BANANA!!! ROCKER!!! glomp of DOOM!!!
Ive noticed something interesting, when a place is really amazing people say it must be seen to believed ... but the most amazing place ever must be believed to be seen.

It happened for me as soon as I stopped looking, incidentally.

I mean, he was wearing a Wolverine shirt the first day of school. If that's not a sign, I don't know what is.
