Christmas 2005 wish list

Talk about anything in here.

Is this an entire thread talking about all the material stuff that we want/"need" for ourselves?

I may get in trouble for this, but maybe we should have a thread about giving, ..... instead of getting

Yes, this is a thread about what we want, but not everyone has put something material. (such as my post, and a few others)

Silent hunter, you do bring up a good point. I would be honored to start a thread on that.

My list is all made up of anime DVDs and CDs, unless you count my stocking list, which has manga, Japanese candy, and a few other things on it. The DVDs I want most are the 2nd Cardcaptor Sakura box set, Inuyasha Season Two Limited Edition box set, Fruits Basket box set, and a few others. I guess I'd have to check my list again. And no, I don't expect to get it all. (anime is so pricey, plus most CDs I want will have to be imported from cdjapan) ^^;;

Silent Hunter, I think this thread was just started in fun. ^_^ From the overall attitude of this board, it's easy to tell that everyone is quite in touch with the "true" Christmas spirit, but it is fun to talk about what you'd like once and a while~ <3

My list:
~ L'arc-en-Ciel's new CD
~ the last GetBackers DVD
~ the D.Gray-man exorcist's pin I saw...
~ O-KA-NE! XD; <3

- Fullmetal Alchemist manga 1-4
- A leather Utilikilt
- A Taylor 410ce-L7 acoustic guitar
- A leather custom Grammaton Cleric coat from abbyshot.com

That's all I can think of for now . . .

What would make my holidays would be if AS gets really horrible ratings for weekends with their 'comedies' thus forcing them to put Anime back on
all night Saturday and at the same time they have to renew Inuyasha
for another 5 years and run Ranma 1/2 back to back with it along with
the uncut version of Rurouni Kenshin.
I know not gonna happen any time soon but it would be rather sweetly nice if it did happen like that.
In the meantime I will keep poking needles in my AS voodoo doll.

Yeah, easy, but boring! For some people it's about the only thing you can give that won't be complained about, hehe.

My Wish List

Postby Dante » Mon Dec 05, 2005 9:50 pm

Anime: Pilot Candidate box set

Sweet, glad to see that I'm not the only one who liked Pilot Candidate, but unfortunately it had a tone of unanswered questions and it ended on cartoon network in what seemed to be the middle to the episodes... So first I will ask for the completion of Pilot Candidate (with all the cool hidden plot features worked out), the completion of Joan of Arcadia, and Invasion America. All of these ended on to be continued, and they are my top three favorite TV shows of all time :( . WHY DO MY FAVOURITE SHOWS ALWAYS HAVE TO GET CANCELED!

But while I'm asking for bizarre weird things, I would also like to have a genius original idea that is extremely bizarre and fascinating and allows me to better understand my universe and better yet, God.

I would like to also begin to make deep friendships with other people, not the sad ones we seem to make in AZ. I have heard that New York friendships are actually much better, and Japan seems to be incredibly spectacular (one of the reasons I am so fascinated by the culture). But being a 3rd generation Arizona native I suppose I would be the friend that they wish they didn't have but... oh well. But that gets me on to the next wish, I wish to understand what attributes I need to be a better person and the ways and will to implement those attributes.

While I'm at it I might as well ask for incredible adventures to continue throughout life getting more fascinating by the second. I want my life to be more like the video games I play and enjoy every second! (begin firing at me with laser blasters :) . Also, bring in my cute girlfriend with the giant laser cannon and a fascination with science and philosophy, and we shall make platonic love :P). V1v4 d3 r3\/0lut10n!

thank you,
Pascal

P.S.: For all younger viewers, platonic love refers to a fond relationship between two individuals normally based on a common love of discussing knowledge.

I have an evil plan
to save the world for every man,
and I think it's better than the way it's being run.
Oh, the ground works laid,
no don't be afraid,
I'm sure that I can fix it,
when I figure out the physics.

My evil plan to save the world,
just you wait 'till it's unfurled,
it'll go down in history.
It's prophetic, no it's not pathetic.
I can't believe I made it up myself.

I have an evil plan, to save the world you understand,
the exemplary feat,
you'd think I'd have to cheat.
I'd make Voltaire proud, deep and furrow browed.
Uncanny and so clever,
it's 'Our Newest Plan Ever!'

Got tired of whining,
a grander scheme with silver lining,
for every boy and girl.
We can't be responsible,
for all that's wrong with this world.
Starving children in pain,
you can't believe in that God.
The world's not spinning your way,
does every dog still get his day?

Five Iron Frenzy. I couldn't resist.

Well, I naturally wasn't talking about for anybody. (I would never get caught giving just money to anybody either.) However, I was saying that it is my personal preference to recieve. Hear that, ladies? I'm very easy to shop for around Christmas time.... :P

DVD's weren't around yet, but a 5-9 Gb disk would sell for incredible prices because of the cost of the technology. In fact looking back at ancient computers you would pretty much be paying for a supercomputer hard drive for every anime DVD. I'll sell you anime DVDs at 1960s prices! (Thinks of the new massive physics library and research institute I will soon be buying)!

Later,
Pascal
