I love giving gifts! I seriously do. That and hanging out with my family and old friends are my favorite parts of the season. What about you?

Putting up all the decorations. My mom has loads of little things to put around the house, so it's so fun. ^^ I also love all the Christmas movies.

Frosty the Snowman, Rudolf, Charlie Brown's Christmas, A Christmas Story, etc. Old, but SO good. This year I'm finally gonna get around to watching It's a Wonderful Life. ^^

I love spending time with my family and friends, during the Christmas season, and just goofing off.

That and my birthday is on Christmas Day.

1. My brother is eating food before it is served
2. Mom is yelling at my brother to stop eating and " save your apetite", while mom is saying Santa is SATAN
3. Dad is playing his guitar and singing [no one is listening] in english
4. Uncle Jessie is singing in spanish [ no one is listening]
5. Dad asks for us to join
6. I continue to talk to my husband about nothing. And turn to dad and say no thanks....
7. My aunt is saying she is not hungry but eats more than anyone and insists on wearing spandex.... oooo .
8. Grandma is whinning about her kid being gone because he does drugs.
9. My other grandma tells everyone the same story.
10. My grandpa is smoking outside alone and hugging my dog.
11. Then the singing and LIVE Karaoke starts....

12. later we all beat eachother up.

13. grandma is yelling at the family to stop fighting we might run into the tree.

Some of us practice our martial arts on eachother during this time... and we get weapons for christmas sometimes.

It's not Christmas until I dance in or watch The Nutcracker. This year I had to watch, but hopefully next year.... Even more than that though, I love the music. And no, I don't mean Jingle Bell Rock and Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. I mean the stuff that really reminds you what Christmas is all about. Some of the carols are really beautiful, and there are so many great arrangements of them.

The Christmas spirit(s) *hic*.

It's fun to get together with everyone and have a lot of good food. There's always the traditional smorgasbord too.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

The whole giving (and getting) of gifts is of course a pretty big thing, but also love being blanketed in Christmas specials and carols and stuff. Sort of an excuse to be sappy for a month (aside from my occasional blast of annoyance over people's attempts to de-spiritualize the whole thing, but that's something else entierly)

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God. The Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; They will run and not grow weary, They will walk and not be faint

Joking aside, the only part that I really care about is that my friend loved the gifts I got her, so that's what counts.

Getting and giving presents. Aside from celebrating our Lord's birth, there really isn't much else I like about Christmas. ^_^;;;

Celebrating my Lord's birth.

Visiting and eating with family.

Christmas decorations in the season's first snows. I love snow in December - there's nothing quite like it.

As Garfield once said, "It's not the giving. It's not the getting.

It's the loving. Merry Christmas."

And a birthday party for Jesus when we get the presents? It's a little messed up that way, but I'm not complaining!

I also like Christmas cookies, stockings, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and changing my computer for that wonderful coming time when Jesus was born at last.

I absolutely love buying presents for other people, as long as I have the time and money to devote to getting them a gift they'll absolutely love. I like bringing a smile to someone's face n_n I also love the Christmas lights. One of my favorite things to do during the Christmas time is to drive around at night and just look at all the Christmas lights.

And I don't know how to explain it, but...the Christmas season just has this...feeling. It's cold outside, but the season just has a warm emotional feel to it, for me, anyway.

Yes: exactly. I was sick one Christmas, but it was still wonderful, because I was with my family, and basically curled up under a quilt all day. Christmas (and snow -- I still haven't quite grown out of that) seem magical and wonderful to me.

Getting is better than giving(slightly). It's about the gifts (plus the spirit that comes with it)
