useless "life long dreams"?

I'm sure I'm not the only one here that wants to achieve a pointles goal for your life, but just something kinda fun that you wanna do? ^^

For example, (if you were on that one chat you'd know) some of my useless life-long dreams is that I want to at least dress up and be a mascot at least once in my life, and above all, I want to be with my friends and all of a sudden break out in song in a moviesque fashion^^ Ah I've heard stories of people pulling it off and it sounds like something I'd remember for the rest of my life!

....just things like that! Reminds me of all of Homer's "life logn dreams" on the Simpsons.

I intend to drive US 6 all the way across the United States one day, still the USA's longest single-designation highway. If you count what used to be US 6 (US 395 from Bishop to Inyokern, then CA 14 to Sylmar, then I-5 -> CA 110 -> I-110), it's the longest ever.

Modern US 6 is still 3,205 miles, from Bishop, CA, to the very tip of Cape Cod.

One day ... ^_^ I've already driven US 395 from San Diego to the Canadian border, which is 1,490 miles (modern US 395 is 1,305).

When I was nine, I had this "big" ambition to touch a piece of grass I'd never walked on before, so I'd always be hanging my arm as far as I could out the window whenever we were driving by one of those overgrown ditches. Well, I accomplished that dream, and it stung pretty bad, so it wasn't as fulfilling as I'd imagined...

As for now, I want to play my bass guitar in some sort of stadium, where the lights would reflect off it like gigantic sunbeams, and where I can see all the lighters, or in nowadays' case, cell phones light up and dot the crowd when whoever I'm playing with starts a slow song... Even though I probably wouldn't be able to see because of the blinding light aforementioned. Ah well... it's a dream right?

When Voyager on my life's ambition was to marry Jeri Ryan,of course being a realist I realized I would have a better chance if my life's ambition was to marry Jennifer 'Kes' Lien.Currently it's simply to date Michelle Ruff or
Veronica Taylor or someone like that.I know NOT gonna happen,but at least it's something NICE.
More realistic goal is to trace my family tree all the way back to as far as I can go,hopefully as far as the B.C.s

Ah, if we include things as small as that, I have another. During autumn, I have always wanted to catch a leaf before it hit the ground for the first time. Given that most of the trees nearby lose their leaves slowly, it isn't easy unless you have nothing better to do than sit and wait. Actually, I have probably done this one, but it wasn't as if it made that much of an impression.
