How about Otakon anime con and a Muslim conference in the Baltimore Convention Center at the same time.
This happen the first year Otakon moved to the convention center.

Ouch and yes I was talking about at first. People were butts at first and I never saw those people be nice once. It was totally different people that went out and were spreading the good news.

Hahaha, that would be funny, cheerleaders and anime fans..... hmmmm
Thats sad about how the so-called Christians treated the con-goers.... They should have seen it as a great opportunity.

So you were at the same infamous con that Vic Mignona talkes about?
Lately I have been wondering about the younger generation of Christians.
When I was a teen the grown ups in charge would certainly have stressed being polite and considerate.I wonder why the grown ups in charge of that Christian con didn't do the same?
As far as the cheerleaders go...well they can't be any worse.

The kids were fine with it it was the 35 + that were calling us bad names, snobbing us, calling us "star wars freaks "freaks" "devil worshipers" "idiots" and such. Only a few of the younger people were acting as such, it was mainly the adults.
The kids towards the end of sat were out and being nice and talking to people. Did not see one adult from the con then.

edit

forgot to mention some female cosplayers were pretty miffed about some of the younger people from the other convention. Supposedly the girls made snide remarks and glared and the guys stared.
Heard similar reports from two cosplayers one in a bad costume one in a not so bad costume. One was I-No from ggxx and the other was from some anime i havent heard about.

An anime-con and a cheerleader-con at the same time, huh? Sounds like, er, fun. Probably not as much fun as the debate camp I attended that was at the same time at a cheer camp at the same university, though. Now that was fun. *rolls eyes* XD

I imagine that the anime con-goers may be just as bad as the cheerleaders.

Oh I know they can be, but from experience the majority of cheerleaders attack anything slightly different then their standards. Not saying this about all cheerleaders, but talking about the majority.
