C'mon, Vash IS the star of the show! I loved him, and how he developed. He's a lot like Kenshin, so of course he was high if not the highest on the list. Milly, Meryl, and Wolfwood are great, too. Except, oh ya know...

Hmm...I say Vashi-kun is my very favorite, but Legato-sama definitely gets a mention, being voiced by Richard Hayworth and all... ;) Meryl is pretty cool too, Millie was never my favorite, and Wolfwood was a cool guy, but not as cool as my favorite Vashi-kun! ;D

It's a tie between Wolfwood and Legato for me ^^

1. Vash - Can be hilarious one moment and dead serious the next. Huge heart and great respect for life. Alot of admirable qualities about him.
2. Wolfwood - Like Vash he has a funny side and a serious side. It's great that he's a priest, though very unorthodox ([SPOILER]though in the end it's all made right[/SPOLIER]). Like Vash he has alot of depth to his character. He has a real heart for kids too.

The cat. You know, the one that just randomly appears in episodes? I was so sure they'd explain the cat, and of course they never did in the anime series. I kept expecting it to be some cyborg information gathering device or something, but no. It was just a random cat.

I liked Wolfwood too, but not as much as the cat.

The cat is Kuroneko-sama, one of Nightow's first characters. That's why she shows up in all 26 of the Trigun episodes. Kuroneko-sama is awesome, though!!

Rouroni Kaoru,

I agree, Kuroneko-sama is indeed awesome! Do you know any background about her (him?) ?

Well, no, not really. I've never seen/read that part of Nightow's work before, but I do know she was first seen in his first original work. I'm also certain Kuroneko-sama is a she (don't know why I wrote "he she" in my last post...Better go edit that! ) I should Google "Kuroneko-sama" and see what comes up...:thumb:

EDIT!

Who would have known how much Kuroneko-sama merchandise there is out there! XD

Anyways, here's Wikipedia's description:
Kuroneko-sama

\'\'\'Kuroneko-sama\'\'\' (黒猫さま lit. \'black cat lord/lady\') is, as her name suggests, a black cat. (Yasuhiro Nightow has said that the cat is female, and he would know: Kuroneko-sama was one of the first characters he created for the manga.) Her formal name is Kuroneko Kukan, or Black Cat Space.

She appears in every episode at least once, usually as a running joke of popping her oval-shaped, green-eyed head on screen at some opportune moment and usually uttering a simple \"nyaa.\" (Some of her appearances are truly laugh-out-loud funny: in the episode \"Fifth Moon,\" when Vash is clearing out the city of Augusta, he fires into the air and is quite surprised when the cat lands on his head with a \"nyaa,\" then jumps off.)

Kuroneko-sama may have some connection with Vash, but that, like her appearances, is a mystery.

Kuroneko-sama makes a cameo appearance in Wild ARMs 2nd Ignition.

<<Midvalley the Hornfreak. Think about it - is there anyone more awesome?>>
There kind of is. But still, Midvalley's a good guy, and just kind of...cool. I mean, he's a ladies' man with a pink shirt and a saxophone and, in the manga, the cutest hair, like, EVER, man.

I sort of pity anyone on this site that doesn't know me well enought to believe this. If I really have to tell you guys who my favorite is, I'm very, very disappointed in you. XDD
Think happy thoughts.
