Christain values in FMA

I thought about it after I finished watching Episode 51 of FMA. The Military was acting just like the Nazis did to the Jews towards the Ishbalan people. I totally agree with you there, CrimsonRyu17.

Wow, seeing Ed talk about him not trusting Einstien was a real drag. I would if I was in his shoes, mainly because of Einstien's theory of Revetility, oh well,lol. Ok, the Homonculus are embodied as the 7 Deadly Sins; Lust, Glotteny, Envy, Sloth(slothfulness), Wrath, Greed and Pride. They definitly acted as such. If that is not another sign or that signifies Christianity ( symbolism,etc), then I don't know what else does.

yeah i saw that as something related to christianity big time. i mean why would'nt it be, atleast, related to christianity because DUH they are batteling the 7 most deadly sins. but yeah, thats what i was talking about, maybe it is true that *SPIOLER* the Ishbalin people are like an analogy to jews only they are in Ed's world and the jews are in ours. and did anyone else notice that there are crosses in some of the grave yards? maybe someone linked over to ours or something like that. * sighs * man i'm tellin you that it really makes you think but at the same time it can make you confused

True, but if you are deep into Theology, seeing tons of Christian symbolism and pure Christianization alot of places that are starting to become multimedia hotspots nowedays, well, it's a definite eye and soul opener. Man, I need to get the FMA movie! Then my collection will be complete,sigh...

yeah its good to see christainity in alot of places. it does good to me and i'm sure alot of other people ^ ^. but are you telling me that youve got all the episodes man, i've only got vol. 1.

Well, I got all the episodes all to date, up to Episode 51 subbed. Man I love subbed. I somewhat got into it dubbed, but have yet to collect it dubbed,sigh... In a couple weeks, I'm going to go buy one of the Military Uniforms of FMA and become a " Dog of The Military" so to speak for cosplaying.

was Greed's death really all that bad? i only saw him die because of Ed. but there are still christain values in it ( not to argue ). and are you sure that Arakawa-san is'nt a christain. maybe she is but then again i can't say either.

I'm talking about the manga, not the anime, I've read most of the manga (and like it better slightly then its counterpart) and less of the anime. The manga Greed dies a lot differently, with Ed nowhere in presence.

About my assumptions... there is a 1% chance she is Christian and a 99% chance she is not. Odds favor my conclusion to be frank.

oh, now youre making me jealouse that sounds cool. i like thier suits they wear. but yeah i just love Full Metal Alchemist, its my favorite and probably will stay that way ^ ^. i'm hoping to get the soundtrack, i just love the music too. but yeah i've got some other theorys about it but i'm still working on em. *sighs in happy way* i love this site, what would i do without it? ^ ^. i truely believe Full Metal Alchemist is a good show and there are definent christain values. hmph, my parents and grandparents don't think that but they did'nt look into it as much as i did. but yeah, maybe, hopefully, Arakawa-san is really a christain but just wanted to make a form of entertainment that resolved of her life or something, i can't really say. Whoa! big theory just popped up in head.

Plus, you have to remember, that this is just a story. It is a great story (one of my favorite types of reading material by far!) but, whe you boil it all down, unless she comes out and says she is a christian ( Which could hurt her carrear, because of Japans stance on Christianity.), we can only speculate, and that dosn't really help people, dose it?

yeah i guess youre right, i just hope she's a christain. even if it is just a fantasy story its one of the best ones i've heard ^ ^. I just pray she is a christain.

Well, for us History Buffs, this is a real good story and us Fantasy fans. However, my theory is more realistic. God uses us, wheather we want to or not. So, in that respect, He could or used her to write such a interesting story with alot of Christian symbolism,etc; even if she is not a Christian.

yeah i forgot of how how god could use people. * boinks self on the head* oh yeah i read some of the interviews of Arakawa-san and to tell you the truth i can't tell you if she's christain or not. but hey i checked out that site you posted. i don't know if i'm gonna start cosplaying any time soon but it is a good idea i guess ^ ^. i whished they'd show a real picture of the military costume, i like those

Yeah, I should e-mail them to take pics of the Military Unifroms, good idea! Well, I guess we will one day find out if she is or isn't,lol. So, what is your top favorite FMA Episode? Mine is when Ed and Al go against Psiren, and the whole Episode Arc after Ed and Al discover who [spoiler: The Fuhrer truely is].

well, to tell you the truth i'm not that far into it. i've seen alot but i don't remeber most of them. but yeah maybe one day we will find out if she's christain. i hope so. but yeah i did'nt see a single picture of the real military suit. i would get one but if i started walking around in one i guess no one would know what i'm wearing around my area. not many people actualy know of anime, i would'nt be surprised if i was the only one who knew ^ ^. man, i still like those suits though. Full Metal Alchemist is awesome, i love it!! but yeah that episode with psiren was kinda funny ^ ^
