Sad Anime Songs

Postby Scepth » Sat Nov 12, 2005 10:39 am

What Anime Song makes u feel sad or emotional?

I find Half Pain(WHR) and My Will(Inuyasha) really depressing. And then there's this song Blue from Cowboy Bebop. =(

Blue from Cowboy Bebop is a very sad song. As is Gravity from Wolf's Rain. ^_^; I saw Mayaa Sakamoto preform Gravity live, and I started crying.

I think the opening theme to Lain is rather sad.

Ano Sora o Dakishimete (Hold That Sky Close) from the first Kimagure Orange Road movie, I Want To Return To That Day. Even sadder with the visuals.

You are SO lucky!!!

My Will...depressing? It's actually not that sad...

But GRAVITY....uhhhnngggg...*howls* And "Tell Me What the Rain Knows"!!!
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

[Pink Floyd fan listening to Queen and hugging trees which is also known as taking care of God's creation with a pair of headphones on listening to Nightwish as loud as possible while writing a novel on a computer in the middle of a field filled with Wolves.]

where'd you see maaya perform live?! That rocks.... I'd have to agree with the WHR song, but isn't it "Allay Pain"? "Deai" from Chrono Crusade is rather sad, and also, yeah, Gravity! "Sorrow and Sadness" from Naruto is up there for me; i got the sheet music for it, but whenever they play in the show, depending on the scene, I cry! Dang, I know there's more for me, but I can't think of them right now!
