Anyone else like the tunes from DH? They are great! I love 'Broken Upper hand'. For people that don't know about them, they sound like Slipknot + Linkin Park. Now for people who KNOW about them, are any of there songs REALLY related to god/jesus? :eyebrow: Becauase they are concitared a christian band.

Well, I happen to know a very, very dedicated DH fan, but he's not here at the moment...so if you can hold on for a few weeks, I'm sure he'll come back and post on this.

I am back. I love DH...as for direct usage of Jesus in songs...I dont think there are any...but lines like...

"Im gonna scream Your name till you come back"

I think we know who he is talking about.

DH have a new CD coming soon...Should be as good as there first one. As for there first cd My Throat is an open grave is my fav DH song...the heartbeat intro is awesome. For more info on the band check out there website at Demon Hunters website

Off the tope of your head, about what portion of the songs are Christian-themed?

once again. Jesus Christ, Light of the World, burning
bright within our hearts forever. Freedom means love
without condition, without beginning or an end. Here's
my heart, let it be forever Yours, only You can make
every new day seem so new.

Demon Hunter is a Christian band that professes to be Christian as well. A fair amount of thier songs relate to Christian themes, morals, beliefs, etc as well as a fair sort of subjects.

I loved the s/t. I just loved it. SoD really let me down. It was like I listened to it and loved but then I listened to it again and I was like "....what the heck....it sounded ok the first time but it's horrible now". Thier new album is just awesome. I still have to get it though.

OK. Couldn't tell. But I'm glad to know that. I've liked every one of their singles that I've heard from all three albums.

I can agree there. Linkinpark is like Rap/pop/"nu metal"
In my opinion.. I can see them being like Slipknot though.
^_^ with out all the anger that is.

This band was one of the main reasons I got into harder music. (Project 86 also.)
