I'm usually known on variations of "Angel". Sometimes it's just "Angel", I get a couple "Angel-chan"s, I know there's at least one who calls me "Lady Angel", Darth Amaro, aka David, my Trigun apprentice, addresses me as "master", and someone who shall not be named calls me "Ange". Oh, sometimes I'm typoed as "Angle", which produces a chorus of "She's an acute angle!"

I need to codify my nickname in real life. A friend of mine that calls me Jon went to where they call me Jonny, and had to explain who I was. Then, she went to the Wesley, where I'm known as Jonathan. Same thing.

To clarify, I'm Icarus, Jon, or Icky.

I know everyone gets their nick names from other people.
I have been given different nick names over the years.
I had Reverse from someone from another fire department who came to help me out of a problem.
It was winter and I had park my car in a spot in the parking lot of the fire house where all the ice had collected. I try to get my car out by spining forward and then back. Well I had hoped the curb would stop me but the ice had built over the curb and when I went back the car kept going back and into a small steam behind the fire house. Well we had to call another fire station that had a off road unit that had a winch to pull my car back up to the parking lot. So the crew of the other fire station gave me the name Reverse. I guess this should have also gone in the Embarrassing Moment thread.

In Spanish class, back in the day, I was Guillermo. I also sometimes use the Gaelic name Uilliam. (yes, with a 'u'.)

I think I've been shortened to kneko, neko, and kawaii... of those I like kneko the best. But I think its all very much easier just to call me Tee since that's been my nickname irl since I was like...3...
