No, I'm not a pastor as in an official Reverend, but I do work as a Youth Leader/Minister. I have been working in teen ministry for about 5 years now as an assistant youth leader. It wasn't until last year that I become the head Youth Leader at my church. But that's a story in itself.


You're really good at kindness and encouragement, have you ever thought about a volunteering for ministry? I think you would be really good at it.

My feelings are kind of like what Paul says in 2 Corinthians 7:4 “I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.â€

Actually, my family and I run our own ministry. We distribute Christian films and we have our own magazine, the Galliean, in India. One day, the ministry will be passed on to me, but for now I write articles for the magazine.

I wouldn't be surprised if you become a Reverend one day, holysoldier5000. God bless you!

My own words
Like Paul says, I think it is so important as Christians to "encourage one another and build each other up" (1 Thessalonians 5:11). As well as to be honest about it. I have run into too many people who cut other people down with their words and I think it is just awful. Too many young people now days have little to no self-esteem because of the harsh words others tell them. But imagine what the world would be like if we, "encouraged one another and built each other up?" Imagine a world where it didn't matter what you looked like, or how good you were at sports, etc, but who you are to God. For we are, "God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved" (Colossians 3:12). It would be a world where we would love others as much as God loves us.
