You should have said something! I was up in Spokane a couple weeks ago for a day or two photographing on US 395.

I met a couple of IRC (Internet Relay Chat) friends who lived in Hong Kong years ago. I've lost touch with one but still keep in touch with the other one (sometimes).

Earlier this month we met Talame in person. She was a really polite and helpful person (thanks for the copy of the bus timetable Talame, I've still got it!).

Met a fellow anime blogger once. He was cool. It was just two guys chilling at an anime convention. Nothing really special about it.

I did shanghai him into a buying expedition, though...

I think it would be weird to actually meet someone from online here.
Btw:I should have asked how many live between Calgary and Spokane
that might have made it easier.
FYI:When I'm in Spokane I spend a lot of time at the Barnes & Nobles
at the Northtown mall.

<.< >.> Well.....I live out in red neck country. Spit shine your lawn ornaments (A.K.A. your car) into a gorgeous rust and let idle days fly by as you sit in the rocker out front and enjoy the scenery of all your household appliances. Oh and don't forget to yell at the 22 pit bulls. ;)

Once when I went into town I saw a guy and for some reason it felt like he was a CAA member... but I honestly don't think he was, I had just been spending too much time on here. I've never met a CAA member. Does anyone live remotely close to a place called Crabtree? Maybe Asheville would be a broader choice...

Let's see...I've met Jeikobu and his bro who's on here (sorry I forgot the name.) I also met Rocketshipper. They looked a lot different than I expected. Any CAA homies in Colorado Springs?

Oh hmm. Somehow through my travels I have met....

Gypsy, Lightbringer, Zilch, Spades, (could it be I went to school with these ninnys? Nooo) Olorc, Piloswine, Mourningdove (it rocked meeting you guys at Soulfest) Shooraijin, Turbocat, Ashley, I think that might be everyone...if I forgot you...sorry. But yeah, anyone who goes to Soulfest in New Hampshire has a good chance to meet a few CAA members. Myself included.

I've never met anyone I've met on-line. I've talked to someone from Kentucky (on a different forum) on the phone once. That's about it.

I met someone from another message board once. Met at a church. That was pretty cool... Shook hands and talked for a few minutes.. then I left. I wish I would have stayed longer. Then I moved away from that area.

Tried to visit a really close online friend.. that never worked out and there's really no way I can visit him now.

I don't have any plans to visit any other online friends at the moment.

I have called quite a few on the phone, though. That's always fun. :)

Logic would indicate that I'll meet more of the CAA moderators someday, though when that will be I have no idea. Also, chances are very good that I will eventually meet Mave.

I'll be in Ethiopia next month, so I'll have to drop by. [/moderately inside joke] [Plus, I won't really be in Ethiopia.]

Logically, I could have well been in the same room at times with several of you guys and never known it. But, I really do hope to meet several CAAer's face to face someday. When that will happen is anyone's guess.

Nice. In case anyone didn't understand your joke, let me be clear: my reference was to a specific thread in which bigsleepj and I participated, not a moderator issue.

I actually met someone on an MMORPG recently that goes to the same college I do. We had lunch today, which was nice. XD He's also a pretty devout Christian, which was awesome. :DD

Never met anyone from here IRL, though...

If anyone met me at KumoriCon in Portland, I was the guy who taught "The Biology Of A Hero".

I haven't met anyone from online either. I'm a little wary about that.
But my cousin met her current bf at Christiancafe.com (some dating site) and he's a pretty nice guy...so I guess it can be ok to meet someone. I would just be super careful about that. Is anyone from the Houston area?

I've never met, in person, anybody that I became acquaintances or friends with strictly through the internet.

I live a fair distance away from all but very few people that I've met on-line, so I've never really had the opportunity to meet internet friends in person, though I would love to.

I have, however, gone so far as to exchange pictures and phone calls with a few people. I've had pleasant experiences for the most part from that. I do find that it tends to add to the sense of friendship - make it that much more 'real' as it were.
