Goodbye for awhile... kinda

Talk about anything in here.

Goodbye for awhile... kinda

Postby Hephzibah » Wed Aug 10, 2005 11:53 pm

Firstly, let me say that I am NOT angry, upset, bitter or anything else like that. I am not leaving because of anyone here. I am having a break from CAA for a tad... probably a month for personal reasons, which as the name suggests are personal.

I will still be lurking around the prayer room and Remember the Sword thread
because I have a responsibility there, but I will not be going into the other areas of the forum (will even be forgoing the Bishie thread, which is "woah serious" :P ). Again, allow me to stress that I am NOT LEAVING ON BAD TERMS WITH ANYONE. This is just something I feel I have to do.

And yes, this means I will not be going to the chat room for so long as this continues. I'll miss you guys (esp my bro siggy... who's b'day is today. Happy birthday!!! ), but I trust it will be for the best in the long-run. I am not dropping from the face of the planet; you can still contact me via PM if you feel the need.

Anyway, God bless you guys! :thumb: I love you all

You'll be missed. You have been a blessing for many members here on CAA. You are always there to give people prayer support and give encouragement. I pray that things work out for the best. I hope to see you around the threads again.

God bless Talame. You're good people. Take care.

Puh-lease, you'll still see me around the prayer room! XD

I pray you find what you need and come back to us safe and better than ever.

Please do pray that I find what I'm seeking. Yes, its something very specific (and no, its nothing like a guy or anything, its a character attribute) I've been feeling lately that I am really going to need this to continue growing in in the Spirit. :thumb: Thanks for the support everyone!

Noooo! Not Tally-chan!

Well, if you feel this is something you've been called to by the spirit, I suppose I can let you go. *sigh* I and the bishie's thread shall miss you, but I will pray for you in your absense. :thumb:
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I am digging up this thread again (rather than creating a whole new thread) to announce that I am going to be doing a similar thing to last time . I'm not sure how long it will be this time, but there are some issues that need adressing in my life.

God bless you guys; may He bring you all into a deeper walk with Him

Thanks Eriana. As for why everyone is leaving, well, maybe its a good thing. It will lower the number and hence likely increase the 'community' feel again. ;)

Maybe but I love having fellow Christian friends. T.T
It makes me forget about the world and insane people as a whole!
You guys make up the parts of my life that seem to ache, you give me advice and treat me the same instead of a pet or an outcast like everybody I ever knew has. You guys are extremely important to me, and when one of you leaves I feal like a part of my heart just died.

I see where you are coming from, but there is no need to feel that about me. I'm not leaving permanently. I'll still be lurking around the Christian Growth section.

Besides, even if CAA eventually dies and everyone parts ways, we'll still see eachother in Heaven  We must be thankful that God brought these people into our lives, even if just for a short time, and wait in hope to see them again. :thumb: God bless ya matie

Waah - I can't believe I missed this before!

See ya later, Talame. I'll miss you and will keep you in my prayers, too. You're an awesome mate, a south pacific-er to boot and all up a great person who it is a privilige to know. I'll look forward to when you can be back on again and I hope everything goes well.

Love and God bless, CA.
