Although it was funny, I don't think it is safe to watch... Also I think it's just another anime making a bad name for anime. I could just hear parents complaining... -_-;;

I have not seen the dubbed version, but I have some exposure to the sub and to the English manga. Overall, I can't say that I really enjoyed the series.

Obviously it intends to be funny, and for me at the least it fails. There were a few parodies of elements of pop culture that I appreciated on an intellectual level, but this amounted to a few seconds out of an entire episode. Otherwise, it was essentially just random, and contrary to popular belief one must use randomness well to make it actually funny.

Awww geez. This makes stuff like FLCL and Dead Leaves look sane.

I've always enjoyed a little bit of the "freaky and random" Japanese humor, but for me this is simply too much blazing pointless inane stupidity to handle in one sitting.

It's kind of like a train wreck -- you really feel guilty about watching it, but you're inexplicably compelled to STAAAAARE at the HOOORROR....x_x

I've always rather enjoyed blazing pointless inane stupidity. Last night we videotaped a conversation between two of my friends and their...hair. In the middle of a restaurant.

And I always found Seventeen magazine more like a train wreck. :grin:

Not Safe to watch?! It`s Toonami, not adult swim.

Off topic: No offence or anything, myoti, but accroding to your age set on your prfileo you`re turning 3 soon. I just don`t think it`s funny at all when people change their age to like 100 or 2 or something.
